I hope the Petco sales are listed soon! 🙂

  2. Lizze

Definitely stocking up on litter for my cats & donations to a shelter 🙂

  3. Andria

Greenies Canine Dental chews will be on sale 24.99 reg 33.99 and there is a $3/1 coupon on redplum.com plus they advertise that you will recieve $5 holiday bucks on your receipt when you buy one. Thats $17.00 off one box!!!

  4. Takia

Do they take coupons for the tidy cat . Target runs a similar price point for tidy cat 20 pounds right now its 3.74 I believe for 20 pounds.

    • Jcatz824

The Purina Tidy Cats cat litter 35lb. pail on sale Black Friday at PetsMart is the scooping litter – NOT the 20lb. bags. And, YES, PetsMart takes mfg. coupons and that includes internet coupons.

Just want to throw out there that shelters are strained on resources and need donations this time of year! Litter, food, and toys are always in demand:-)

    • Stephanie B.

Beds, blankets, and treats too!! 🙂

  6. Doxie

I can’t wait to go to Petsmart for Black Friday! Just remember guys, the $4.00 hamsters may seem like a great idea, but all in all they are animals and deserve to be loved and cared for too, no matter how cheap and small they are. Just like many advise against buying Christmas puppies, Christmas hamsters should be a family decision too! They should not be disposable.

    • Jcatz824

Oh, I TOTALLY agree with you. I know of one family that should never be allowed to have pets.

That Purina dog food is a good deal, under a a dollar a pound for dog food is always good, especially when it is a good brand!

    • annad

Purina is a very low tier of dog food. A good brand is orijen and decent is blue buffalo. Anything with chicken or too many ingredients isn’t great for your dog

      • terri

annad..I so agree with you. I’ve been reading recently all the recalls and problems with Purina with the products being processed in China and sent here and pets dying…horrible. I’ve thrown out all my Purina food and snacks. I’ve switched to Newmans Organic, may try blue buffalo as there are sometimes coupons for that to help offset the cost.

        • Marie S.

Terri, if you try the Blue brand but it somewhere you can return it if your pets don’t like it. Mine aren’t super picky but they refused to eat that brand.

        • Jcatz824

I hadn’t heard anything about recalls on Purina food. I’ve been feeding my kitties Purina Indoor Cat Chow or Purina/Friskies Indoor Delights Cat Chow for quite some time. I also feed them Purina/Friskies canned food. Why would pet food companies sell food that would harm our pets??? They’re not going to make money if pet owners stop buying the food they make. I just don’t get it – why wouldn’t the pet food companies want to make sure that the food was safe for our pets?????

      • Emilytwinmom

Amen! I only feed my pup and cats the good brands from pet stores 🙂 Makes me sad to see the crap they sell in the grocery stores.

I don’t have much experience with Black Friday, is this just a preview of what will be there? My labradoodle loves wearing clothes, I was hoping to venture out to the pet store and see what kind of clothing deals I can get on BF for him. Anyone with info on places to get great clothing for dogs would be great…They can be pricy!

  9. Queenjen87

Does anyone know if the season of savings is going on this year? Where they offer a 5 oyno wyb select purina products? I always roll those on the cat litter. Has anyone been in store and seen it? If so that makes cat litter 2.49 after coupon. (Less if there are any matching man Qs, about 3 years ago they had $3 pealies and 8.49 … That was awesome!)

    • Jcatz824

I was in my local PetsMart (I think it was Nov. 9th) and it’s called “Holiday $5. Bonus Bucks”. I asked if a Purina Tidy Cats 35lb. pail purchase would generate a $5. coupon and I was told they weren’t sure. What I was told was that if there was a special tag on the shelf then “yes” but if there was NO tag then they didn’t think so. I DID NOT see any special tags near the Tidy Cats scooping litter. There were also no special stickers on the pails. I didn’t buy any – I was just trying to get information to prepare for hopefully a good Black Friday sale. So I see that the sale on Tidy Cats is really great ($7.49) but I have quite a stock on hand now in my shed but I would buy more – for sure – if it was generating a “Holiday $5. Bonus Buck”.

wonder if I can pay for a reptile and pick it up closer to Christmas..lol..

    • Robin Black

      Good idea.

The PetsMart Black Fri. ad that came in yesterday’s paper is for ONE DAY ONLY – Black Friday. I thought the sale was going to be from Fri. 11/29 through Sun. Dec. 1st.
