Use pick up in store for items OOS online 🙂
Thanks for sharing — but most of them say not available online and no inventory within 100 miles (and there are several within 100 miles). Any tips?
Seems like these can only be gotten in the store and that cannot check availability even for in store. Am I missing something? Any tips?
One I was looking for they had at a local store for pick up. All depends on the stores stock. My concern is it says in store pricing applies. So I am nervous that I will get there and have it be more.
All of the games are showing unavailable
They also have the app cards for 4.99. I picked up 11.
I did a price match at best buy and it worked in Chicago
I was just at Toys R Us and the app cards are included in the buy one get one sale! I got 2 $25 app cards each with a bonus app for $25. I have not seen what the bonus apps are yet but with the cheapest app at $5 it seems like a great deal.
How long is the TRU deal going on? That seems like a great deal!
It was in their weekly ad so at least until Wed I would think. The app store has sales as well. I got 30% off my first order and they are running buy 3 get one app free right now. I am going to check back on black friday to see if they have a better sale.
The bonus apps are so-so. I think there is a book, a game, and flashcards to choose from. My kids have all of the bonus apps and rarely play them. However, I love buying app cards to purchase games. It allows me to put the games on both kids’ leap pads so they can play the same game at once and there is no cartridge to lose.
does leapfrog offer all the same games as apps and cartridges? also, you can load the apps onto more than one leappad?
You can load the apps on up to 3 devices. I buy one app and I can put it on DD1’s leap pad, DD2’s leap pad, and DS’s explorer. I believe that all the cartridges can be purchased as apps. The only downside is that it uses up memory space. However, we have more than enough apps (games) on ours and there is still some memory left for the kids to take pictures.
The app store is really expensive! I noticed that the games that are $12.50 on amazon and $15 at Walmart are $25 at the leap pad app store.
Is the BOGO Online too? Or only in store?
Looks like in store only.
I have $5 in tru rewards from last quarter. Can I use that or no?
Yes, I used my $5 tru rewards.
I bought the leap pad ultra package for my son and I bought the leap pad 2 for my daughter. Do these come with anything they can already play on them?! I didn’t realize I had to buy games for them….
We don’t have the ultra but the leappad2 came with pet pad (which has 4 pet activities – giving your pet a bath, writing letters, feeding your pet, and playing a fling game) cartoon director where you create a cartoon, art studio for drawing, and a song app then you could pick one extra app when you connected it to the computer ours is an ebook but I think you had the choice from a couple ebooks or games. I believe the ultra should come with similar items.
Cool, thanks so much for the info! 🙂
My 2 boys have Leappads and I only buy downloadable apps because I can buy it once but put it on both Leappads. It allows for up to 3 devices.
Looks like the price is $14.99 now?
My bad, that is what Collin posted. Duh!
