Yes it is reliable! But just to let everyone know this comforter isn’t anything special, they have them every year. Its fine for a comforter but its nothing like a down comforter, they are super thin!

But this one is down-alternative so no feathers. 🙂

means they were gotten in a humane, cruelty free way. With regular down comforters they probably killed a bunch of poultry to get the feathers, with alternative or vegan it means some guy is out gathering them up and cleaning them as they naturally fall off the bird lol so it’s nice and cruelty free.
I ordered one of these last year from the same place, nice, they wash easily and are lightweight but warm don’t hesitate its a good buy!

Nope, I got an e-mail stating that my shipping cost for my item (a mason jar of amish jam) was going to be $18.50. The jam was free. I told them to just cancel it, noway i’m paying that much to ship it.

Definitely a good buy. Bought one last year and living in Florida it has kept me warm enough on “cold” nights, but not so warm it’s uncomfortable during summer. Washes well too! I covered with a duvet cover halfway through the year for a change.
I have one of these and have used it for a few years. I love it, it is lightweight, but warm. We have 2 dogs and it cleans up beautifully.

These are nice I have three and light weight which is easier to sleep under. Kohls has one very similar for same price after discount but kohls is much thicker in weight. I like both but the bon-ton is more versitle. Only complaint is they are small if you have a king bed. Order king size if you have a queen.

thanks for the comparison to Kohls! I ordered the Kohls one last night since it was the Black Friday price and was bummed when I saw this one but I feel better knowing the Kohls one is heavier.
Jana you won’t be disappointed with your Kohls comforter. They are much thicker and fluffier than the bon-ton. I would say its almost like having two bon-tons sewn ontop of each other – that’s about how much thicker the kohls one is. However, I love them both because the bob-ton one is lighter and for warmer weather its perfect. I alternate, so really either one is great it just depends on your weather and preference.

Bon Ton is similar to Macy’s in Northeast and has been around for 15+years. I purchased this same one last year on black Friday for the same price as a spare and I ended up using it all the time to replace my $200 one from another store. It is soo easy to wash and is down alternative so there are no feathers coming out. It’s lightweight but warm. love it
Oh forgot to add I have a King bed and would have liked it to be slightly wider but I turned it sideways and actually fits perfect… long enough to cover the whole bed and wide enough to fall about 8 inches on both sides

Bon Ton is the same as Carson’s or Berger’s. They have these every year. I went to the store to see for myself. The “regular” price is ridiculous for what they are, which is thin and average quality. I guess it is a deal at $19, but don’t expect $160 quality.
