Does anyone know the size of the books? based on the comments it appears they are small books…so Im assuming not the size of a chapter book?
The books are very small…I think they are @ 1-2 inches, they are more of a prop for the dolls.
My daughter wants a full size Josefine. I remember being younger and always wanted to have one of this but that never happened. Maybe next year if a good sale comes around in American girl dolls I can get one for my daughter. They are really expensive.. Thank you for posting

My daughter is asking for Saige and the grand piano from American Girl for Christmas. This is my first ever American Girl purchase. Do they ever offer coupons or sales or will I have to order it full price?
They do offer sales but I have never seen one on the Girl of the Year. I have also never seen a coupon. My daughter has been in to them for about 5 years and thankfully didn’t ask for anything American Girl this year. It gets very expensive!
It’s rare for them to offer discounts. Right now they have free shipping on purchase of $100 or more. It expires today. They will offer discounted items every now & then. You have to really watch the site or sign up for email!
Saige will not go on sale and will only be available until Dec 31st. Today is the last day for the free shipping code. These dolls are worth the money. If your daughter loves dolls, you won’t be disappointed. The way I look at it, I’d rather pay $110 for a doll my daughter will play with every day (which she does) than a few $40 toys that she’ll get tired of quickly .
Besides Jill’s Deals and Steals, the only deal they usually have is free shipping if you spend $100. They occasionally have clearance sales, but not on dolls.
The best you’ll ever do on Sage is to take advantage of free shipping. I think code’s Joyful? She WILL sell out because people buy to sell on eBay and the price will spike close to Christmas!

i had “the budget talk” with my daughter this afternoon about the American Doll items she wanted. She wanted saige, but she thought she was “her size” after I explained the styles and prices she had decided she just wants a few craft items instead! whew! that went way better than I thought …who has the best american girl doll craft prices and do they drop them on cyber monday on the website or just the dolls? thanks!
Michaels sells American Girl craft kits. I picked up a clock one and used their 50% off coupon b/c it was regular price. Came out to less than $12. There’s a ton more to choose from so I’m going back with more 50% off coupons.

I just ordered one of the Samantha dolls for a good friends little girl for her upcoming birthday…I only have boys and was supper excited to look at the dolls and think of her playing with it (she is only 4 so the small one will be fine). I was able to get it shipped to my Columbia, SC store and the total was less than $17 with tax. The only doll I noticed that was sold out was Nelli. Thanks for the post and letting this “boy’s mama” do a little shopping on the cheap for a sweet little girl!!!
