Was on the AG site right when sale started. Got 2 AG doll outfits, 2 bitty baby outfits and 2 books for $51!!
Got about six outfits, had 8 in my cart but 2 already sold out and I was on the site waiting for the sale. Have to get on this site first thing or lose out on a lot of the selections.
Same thing happened to me! Very frustrating because you don’t see that until after you are done paying!

If you know little of this, you should check it out. A good resource is Parents and Educators Against Common Core Standards on Facebook. Here is an article to see how they are pushing their agenda. There is a list floating around with all the corporations that give to support Common Core. That is where I first saw A.G. listed. They are invading everything. Glad you are in the fight with us. Michael’s has 18″ doll clothes for less, but these prices make it worth having the American Girl label ! My daughter who is 7, has asked Santa for American Girl Clothes and then any other stuff she can donate to less fortunate …makes splurging worth it 🙂

Just getting started with these dolls. Kinda pricey. What is an average cost or good deal to spend on an outfit? Most of them seem to be the same if not more than what I pay for my own kids clothes. Are there any other places to get the accessories for a little less? Target / walmart?
Yes, you can get accessories/outfits for the dolls at both Walmart and Target (Toys R Us as well), however, most are at or around these Cyber Monday prices. I know Walmart has the shoes for $2-$3.. HTH!
I was able to get the Marie Grace doll for $58 shipped earlier this year, so I purchased the Marie Grace boxed book set ($14, was $39.95!) to go with it. Also purchased the New York AG hat since we just visited there this past Saturday for the first time.. it’ll make a good keepsake for my daughters visit! Also purchased the $5 Emily DVD, Doll tees for $5 (girls can design 3 tees for their dolls) and also the real me outfit for $8. This will be great to pair with the doll my girl is getting for Christmas! I paid for the doll + everything today for LESS than the price of an actual doll full price. That is HIP! 🙂

Get the Dollie & Me brand clothes from dollieme.com or kohls.com. Much cheaper! Kohls also has jumping bean doll and girl pj’s with coupon that you can get right now for about $8.
Amazon had a DVD with the Kit, Felicity, Molly and Samantha movies for $12. I got it for $10 last week, so the price might drop again.

It is definitely worth paying the price for the doll and then I usually get cheaper clothes and accessories. We have a springfield doll too, and the hair can get messier much easier. These prices were great though and I was able to get some outfits. Thanks!

Does anyone have an opinion on the Walmart “American Girl” tent/camping set, https://www.walmart.com/ip/My-Life-As-Camping-Doll-Accessory-Set/26910035. It’s $19.99, compared to $75 for the real AG one.
We have that set and my daughter loves it! We were all impressed with all the accessories. I haven’t checked out the AG version.
Unless you want to buy others.. on Amazon they have (4) of the American Girl movies in one for only $11.99 + Free shipping w/ Amazon prime. I’m sure the price will drop even more before Christmas so I’m going to “watch” it. Just thought I would mention it before some (like me early this morning!) purchased some of the $5 movies.

Thanks for posting. My daughter JUST was looking through the catalog last night and mentioned she wanted matching outfit for her and her doll. I snagged the argyle set for both my daughters. Then I realized the doll outfits are for the bitty twins which are 15″ and these probably won’t fit their Our Generation dolls:-( Not sure if I will be able to return to a b/m store or if I can see if we already have a 15″ baby/doll already (they have so many dolls not sure I want to buy them bitty twins too).
The outfits will fit your Springfield dolls even though they are for the 18in. They will be shorter but still fit. I sometimes use the 15in doll outfits for the 18in. American girl dolls.
Does anyone know how their girl’s dresses run? My daughter is between a size 3 and 4 and the small is a 3, but the Medium is a 4/5
I have heard they run small, so you’re going to want to get the Medium
Really?? Crap, I ordered the small…the one review says it runs TTS or big. If it just came in a 4 I would definitely order the 4….but with it having the 5 in it I was scared. Maybe I’ll call and see if they can switch it. Thanks!

Wow, there are so many activity books for 3 bucks! And some choose your own ending books for super good deal. Somehow I just spent a lot of money there, and everything I bought was 3-5 dollars. I will be all stocked up for a while though! Get over there soon, things are selling out!
I got a few things and after I was done paying one of the outfits was taken out. Didn’t see that until after the order was out and too late to go back. I love these sales but HATE how you never know what you will actually get until after you pay. Still happy with the deals that I was se to get.
can you not cancel the order?
It’s ok I want the items that I still had after I paid but I also wanted the one that sold out while I was paying. You can add them to your basket but they can also sell them to another person while you are trying to pay your order. Not a nice way to do it if you ask me. I was quick paying too!

Will they do any more free shipping coupons in December? I still need to order my doll and the shipping is outrageous!
Apparently they did last year but someone emailed to ask and an American Girl rep. replied that they probably won’t. According to others they did offer free shipping again last year in Dec. but it was the first time they did that. They had free shipping since October all the way to Nov.26. So I don’t think they will.
For anyone who got the Jills Steals and Deals, Marie Grace or Cecile in October, did your dolls come with hats? ON the today show video it showed hats and I thought all the dolls came with hats. I only recieved 1 hat for Marie Grace but not for Cecile. I got the sweet dreams Cecile set. How about the rest of you?
I snagged a Cecile and Marie Grace sweet dreams bundle. The sweet dreams bundles only brought the pj set and doll. But there were other bundles available that had outfits and some had the accessories that brought the hat.
Ordered yesterday and its already shipped and on its way here… Nice!
