Macys free shipping threshold is keeping me from ordering. 🙁

    • visitor3

If you order extra (to get over the threshold) can you take it back to a Macys store without having the shipping deducted from your refund?

    • Ruth

Promo Code SALE gets you 15% off + Free Shipping

  2. Lmason

@ali – me, too! Just can’t pull the trigger without free shipping.

    • steph

Same here! I haven’t paid for S/H for who knows how long. Too spoiled I guess!

  3. Lisa

I have a $10 e-gift card for Macys I’d be willing to trade… send me any offers you may have… promised2timmy@gmail.com

(I can’t spend it, because I’m to cheap to pay shipping and the nearest Macys is about a hour away– so not worth the trip)

looks like the “friend” code itsn’t valid until tomorrow. I tried using FRIEND and it didn’t work. Maybe I will try again tomorrow.

    • Jen

      oops, isn’t

      • Natalie

I just used the code FRIEND and it totally worked! It said it’s valid online starting today, the 3rd.

Collin, thanks so much for posting this! I had three North Face items on Christmas lists, and I saved $150 using this code!!

  5. Kristy

I bought the North Face Denali fleece coat at TJ Maxx last week for $49.99! They had the pink, blue, and white coats!!!!

    • susan

Hi, Kristy or anyone else, do you know if TJ maxi has the men’s fleece jacket or just the women’s?

      • Kristy

I only looked in the women’s section. They were actually in the clearance section!

      • kara

My store had the men’s North Face fleece .

    • spifftiff88

awesome find, love tj maxx.. thx!

  6. Elizabeth

Thank you!!! I’ve been waiting on a good deal on this jacket! I’m a M in the womens size so I bought the XL in the girls size (fits just the same supposedly). Then I added a pair of gloves (much needed) so I wouldn’t have to pay the shipping charge. I then applied my $10 off giftcode from the deal you posted a couple of weeks ago. Total came to about $100 which isn’t too shabby 🙂

What makes these hoodie-like jackets so expensive!? Am I missing out on something…are they THAT warm? Is this just a “brand prefference” thing? Just curious if anyone has one.

    • Megan

I have a pull over that’s more of a fuzzy material than a fleece.. I call it my polar bear sweatshirt lol.. it’s pretty darn warm! I also have a regular sweatshirt hoodie and it’s only as warm as others I have.. Can’t speak for the fleece/jackets though. My hubby hits the North Face outlets when he travels and or we visit family in Oregon.. got my stuff for $20 each.. wouldn’t spend more than that for a “name”…

      • steph

This is just my opinion but I think it is like any brand whether it is Columbia, Skecher, Adidas, etc. I personally do not own anything in the North Face brand but as far as the fuzzy looking jackets, the dark colored ones sure do show everything. Lint, hair, etc. Stood behind enough people in line to at least notice that.

    • Laura

I own 2 NF jackets, the Apex Bionic (waterproof) and the hooded Oso (fuzzy). I love love love them both. The apex is perfect for a “lightweight” jacket. It is absolutely waterproof too. I wore the Oso all winter long (even in the snow) last year w/o needing any other coat. The wind does not cut through either one. The oso is the warmest coat I’ve ever owned. I’m not big on name brands either, but these were both worth every dime I paid. Just my 2 cents.

    • Julie

I have two NF fleece zip-up jackets that my husband decided were too tight for him. They are okay, but me personally, I don’t think they are any better than any other good fleece jacket.

    • ND

My daughter lost her Northface that we paid around $100 for at school. I got her a Columbia at Kohls for around $20. She loves it just the same.

  8. Crystal

I am wondering the same thing — would love to know more!

  9. Rita

I have two 25$ GAP cash would love to trade with someone!!

    • Lisa

Can u use them online and would u be interested in a $10 Macys card?

  10. Rita

I think its valid in store only fro 1/9-1/12

  11. Jodi

Several girls clothes items were 30% off. Everyday value items, were just the 30% off, and some items were 30% off, and let me use the code. My daughter needs a white blouse and black dress pants for band concerts. I bought several and will return what she doesn’t like. Total was $101.60. I went through discover, which is offering 10% cash back, plus 5% cash back on online purchases. Yeah!

  12. Jessica

I have 2 VS $10 off any purchase. Looking to trade for MACYS GC or something else. Email me if you’re interested. jessicaschwickerath@hotmail.com

anyone got gymboree gymbucks to trade??

    • Sofia

I have 2 $25 gymbucks. Would you have Macys giftcard to exchange?

  14. Nat

Yes, you can order extra and if you do not like it or changed your mind you can return it to the store. They will not charge you for shipping. My orders are usually over $99 with a bunch of discounts. It is good to know that you can return if some product does not fit. Free shipping drives me to shop on line. I usually keep everything because prices are low after all clearance and coupons that it bits Ross prices. Love Macys!

  15. Lena

Anybody wants to buy my kohls cash? I have $65 in it

  16. Ashley

Thank you for posting yet another awesome deal Collin!! My husband has had the NF Bionic jacket on his wish list and I just knew we were going to have to pay full price. Thanks to you I got to order it from home and at a discounted price!!! You rock!

  17. Karen

Thank you SO MUCH for the post! I’ve had my eye on a pair of Frye boots since last July, but couldn’t bring myself to pay full price. They qualified for the discount, so I saved $87! Yay!

BEWARE – RE: Order Cancellations, Promotional egift cards – MAX 1 per order

If you have those promotional egift cards sent via text msg, make certain to only use 1 per order. I had one and my husband had one on his phone. After completing my order no problem (around midnight), it was cancelled within minutes. AFTER waiting 30 minutes on hold to speak with a customer service representative this AM, I was told that my order was cancelled because I used two promotional egift cards. If it had simply not worked on the checkout page, no problem. I would have just used the one and completed my order and used the other later for a separate order. In my mind, this is a huge WEBSITE issue. So the gift cards are cancelled too, and while I was promised mine via mail, my husband will have to call separately. REALLY? Do you think he is going to spend another 30 minutes on the phone after I just did? And that is the only option? Further, I have to redo the order myself because I went through Shop Discover and there is no way for customer service to re-create that promotion in reinstating my original order, sans the promotional gift cards.

Suffice to say, I am not happy.
