Thanks! My son has been wanting that Monsters University truck!
Ok, can anyone help me? I have 8 yr old triplet cousins and I bought legos for them… are legos too babyish for them? In my defense the box did say for ages 8-12 lol! My coworker who has an 8 yr old nephew said that the nephew is way over legos and just wants electronics now!
My son is 6 and is in love with them. My daughter is 8 and loves the Lego Friends. I don’t think 8 is too old at all. My cousin (20 yrs old) asked for Legos for Christmas this year! Everyone is different 🙂
My son still does Legos at 13. I think many kids still play with them into their teens.
It depends on the kids…I have 10 year old family members who are still all about legos!
My son is 9 and LOVES Legos!
Legos are always in! My siblings and I played with them well into our teens! Esp boys!
No, I don’t think they are babyish at all! My 12 year old is asking for Legos this year.
Some lego sets are a lot more complex and take a lot of building skill, plus they have to be able to follow the directions. It’ll greatly depend on each kid for preference on play things. I think a large majority of kids never outgrow Legos. my husband has a blast building with our kids. Our oldest is 6 1/2 and loves legos and electronics. I don’t see him ever outgrowing Legos.
My 10 year old LOVES legos! And, I prefer them having a break from the electronics now and then.
My 8 yr old son loves legos, iphone & Nintendo ds. Legos are still hot on his list, especially popular with that age are ninjago & minecraft.
Thanks for the responses everyone! Hip2Savers are the BEST!!! I’ll go ahead and commit to wrapping the legos then! 🙂
I suppose it depends on the kid. I have 3 boys 7, 10 & 12 and they still love lego’s . So does my 4 yr old daughter!
My Dad was in his 30’s playing Legos with us when we were kids. LOL! I think age 8 is a great age for Legos.
my son is 10.5 yrs. and he still loves legos. my husband is 32 yrs. and he stil pays with them! lol
My husband asked for Lego for Christmas! You are NEVER too old for Lego, you just have to find the right set!
No. Legos are for older kids as well. My 9 year old enjoys them and putting them together….but it stops after that. So we try and take the projects apart and put into a bag so he can do them again another time.
Vivian, Lego’s are the best. My son is 23 and he has a huge box of legos put away. The older kids do Lego robotic state Competition . very cool gift.
At Target the Minnie Mouse Birthday Bow-tique says it’s $12.99 in store, not available online.
i agree the list price is over inflated. I haven’t seen anywhere selling it even close to $50
It doesn’t. It’s $19.99 at Toys R Us.
thats the reg kohls price but got it for $10 there
No my son played with them until age 12.
me and my fiance still play with legos lol!! I didnt think you could grow out of playing with them!
I was excited to have a baby so I could play with Legos again, lol.
Minnie is showing $32.64 now.
^ yes that
You can price match the Mike the Knight sets at target and get bogo 50% off, I did it the other day with the Kip Klop stable ($21 then and half off that )and Fisher price farm ($22), and used my $10 FP coupon off the farm (if you saved your 10 coupons). Great deal for both that way. I paid approx $22 for both!
so when you went to cs desk and price matched it still deducted the bogo
Yes it did
