What a pain in the a*s that was. I have spent over an hour making this happen. You have to use the link on Petco facebook page for starters. Found that out the hard way. Then it would not accept my Mastercard e-code gift card. Had to call. I decided to use a credit card I did NOT want to rack up anymore but wanted the deals with this purchase. Went to my cart, all my stuff was still there, the shipping promo was there. All good…wrong. When I clicked on secure checkout, it wanted me to sign in. No problem. Wrong. It wouldn’t sign me in. Just kept going to sign in page. So I called again. She looked up my order with my cart # but then could NOT get the free shipping to work. She looked up another promo to give me to get free shipping. Well ok then but what about the $5 e code gift from you to use at Petco? Says I will get it. So, at this moment order is placed with free shipping and should receive e code in email. Fingers crossed!!
Both codes came up not valid, plus there were shipping charges and no mention of a $5 gift card

Never mind. I read MomDude’s answer. “The $5 Petco eGift Reward Card will be sent via email, to the email address attached to the qualifying order. The email will be delivered on or before Friday, December 20, 2013.”
Has anyone gotten their $5 gc yet? Today is the 20th so I realize it could come any time today, but it did say “on or before” and I haven’t seen anything yet…

The gift cards better come today. What an annoyance it will be to return 55 orders. At least I got a free Science Diet pet food sample and free mailing envelopes if it doesn’t work…

They said my pet bed was not an item that qualified for the $5.00 e-gift card. I did not know there were exclusions.
