Does anyone know if this would be a good train for under the Christmas tree? I read the reviews and it talks about 4 and 5 yo. Mine are older and I was wondering if any if you personally have one of these?

We have one and it’s kind of like the geotrax from a few years ago. And I don’t think the track is long enough to go around the tree.

On Amazon there’s a video you can watch to see it in action. That alone tells me my 6 yr old boy, and older girls would not care for it.

We have a medium sized artificial tree and we have this train set. This is the first year we’ve tried putting it around the Christmas tree, but it fits. We had to work with it a little, but it fits. It looks really nice under there. It cool to watch the train climb up a little ways into the tree (not very far at all, but still pretty cool).

Hi guys!! I want to invite everyone to donate at least $1 to the TELETON USA! it’s a program that help little ones with disabilities, because we never know what could happen to our kids, http://www.teletonusa.org/ please help!

Or you can call to 800-453-9999 since the website it’s little slow

I’m pretty sure I have this exact one and it fits under our tree. We have a 7″ tree.

    • Cq

Lori does it go around your tree stand?

      • Lori

Yes, it does. I wish I could post a pic somehow. This is also compatible with geotrax so we use our other trains on it too. I bought this at target 2 years ago on clearance for less than $20. My husband puts it together so we haven’t had to deal with any frustration. I would totally recommend this. It’s durable for little ones with grabby hands! 🙂

Does anyone know where I can buy this in store? My 3 year old would absolutley LOVE this! Polar Express is his fave! Sadly I’ve done to much online shopping these past few months so do not have credit card funds to order 🙁 If I could find this in store, Id buy it for sure!

If you’re paying with cash you could always go & buy a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, etc gift card which would load the cash onto it. Then you could use it to make your online purchases:) Or if you want to avoid the activation fees you could always go to a store that sells the Amazon gift cards & buy one of those to use for things like this. Good luck!

Thanks! I was thinking this morning, if the snow ever stops I’ll go to Dollar General and get an Amazon GF…I just pray that the price doesn’t go up before I can get there with this weather :0

Thanks for posting this deal! My son has been asking for a polar express train for the past two months. Can’t wait to see his face when he sees this train under the tree!

I bought this exact set last year. The tracks are so hard to snap together and my sons were very frustrated. It was not a favorite toy for Xmas last year, and it has since made it’s way to the donation pile. IMHO, I think the Geotrax are much better (and we have tons of those sets and trains). I would save the $ on this. Just my 2 cents.
