Be careful on this one if you were thinking about buying it and then immediately moving the funds to your gold card – “customers are prohibited from transferring the cash balance of this Holiday Pass to other Starbucks Cards or eGifts prior to 1/1/2014; (3) customers may not use this Holiday Pass to purchase other Starbucks Cards or eGifts prior to 1/1/2014”

    • irene

So, you won’t earn any stars when you make purchases from this e-gift card? Not sure why that stipulation is there?

There’s an offer for free $5 GC with purchase of one pound Christmas Blend, so that’s a good way to extend the deal!

      • Em

I did this deal Saturday to give as a gift…great deal!

      • Anikka

I think you should be able to add the card to your starbucks account and earn stars that way. Just make sure you don’t transfer the funds to a different card. your account can have more than one card

  2. Kayli

I don’t know about anyone else, but I got an email from Starbucks saying that from the 16th to the 18th, I get a bonus star for the purchase of every food item (breakfast sandwiches and pastries included) when using a registered card. Just a way to get even more out of that $25!

  3. Pharmchick

I was confused by this promo.
Can we use it to load it into our current card? And if so will we still qualify for the bonus $10? I ask bc if I earn 14 stars by the end of the yr I can qualify for gold so is like to do that if possible.

    • Sarah

You can have more than one card on your account. You just have to sign in and register it.

  4. Alyssa

Does this come as a gift card I could add to my mobile app? Just a long as I don’t transfer it to another card?

  5. Stephanie

It doesn’t seem like you can transfer the funds from the card but I see no reason why you couldn’t leave it on that card and add the card to your account and still get the stars for purchases on it. On my account I have my gold card and a card that my husband uses. I still get stars when my husband uses his card.

    • Casey

Yes, I have several cards on my app.

  6. Paige A

I wonder if you could buy something and then return it for a store credit and transfer that to your registered card?

    • Jazzmyn

No that is one of the rules

  7. Teran

Darn, I just bought a $40 gift card yesterday!

Awesome! I was about to go today to stock up on Christmas Blend anyway 😉

  10. Connie

Does anyone know the price of the 1 lb bag of Christmas blend?
    – thanks

    • Katrina

I called my local store this morning and they said $14.95, but that the $5 gift card promo ended yesterday. I don’t have an email or anything, so I hope they’re wrong. It showed in my app Friday.

      • Connie

Thanks for the info. I have the email, but it is unclear. It says at the bottom, ends 12/18 – but unclear if it is referring to that offer, or other offers mentioned in the email.

        • couponer007

I just got off the phone with Starbucks customer service and he read the offer to me, it said it didn’t end until the 18th. I’m going this morning to get two bags for Christmas presents:o)

        • irene

I believe it’s referring to the coffee deal, according to the asterisk placement.

    • trippy79

      Usually around $19.95 plus tax.

      • trippy79

This is what I get when I don’t get coffee in me first, the wrong answer lol.
Here is the right answer… the 1lb bag is $14.95 plus tax. The $5 gift card with purchase of any one 1lb bag of Christmas blend coffee ends 12/18 and it is limit 1 per customer.

      • Em

        In SC, it’s $14.96

        • Em

Missed the 5 on my iPhone, it’s $14.95

          • Connie

Thanks everyone for answering my question:)

  11. Vishnu

I think it was 14.99 or so online…

  12. Brindha

So we have to use the 25$ egift card by dec 31st that is understood. What about the bonus 10$ card we get in jan? Does it have a expiration date or can we add it to our Starbucks card?

  13. mariel

This sweetens the pot for the January mug deal 🙂

  14. Kathleen

Thanks, Colin. Starbucks has been having some great deals lately. At my local stores, they have been offering a $5 gift card for each 1 lb. bag of Chrismas coffee (thru 12/18). Also my local stores have a holiday beverage card. If you buy five speciality holiday beverages, you get one free. There is a little foldable card that the barista puts stickers on with each purchase. One more tip. If your Target has a Starbucks, you may be able to use your Red Card to save 5% on your order!

    • Lauren

Just wanted to mention that the holiday beverage card expired on 12/8, but the earned free drinks don’t expire until 1/31/14.

      • Amber

        The Christmas/holiday one I have doesn’t expire until 12/29.

    • jrust001

I used your link and ordered 🙂

      • Catie

        That’s awesome 🙂 Thank you!

  15. Amber

Has anyone received the egift yet? I got a conformation email, but no card number yet.

    • Catie

In the fine print it said processing could take up to 24 hours…

      • Amber

Thanks! Guess I missed that 😉

  16. Emily

So, If you buy two bags of Holiday Coffee for $15 each =$30 get (2) $5 gift cards back = $10 back you will have spent your $25 so you should get the $10 back on 1/10/14 too. Looks like each bag of coffee would be $5 then. Am I doing that right???

    • irene

I thought that, too, but it says 1 offer per customer. They probably track by gift card, so no way around that!

    • axhilli

Yes you are doing it right. Spending $30 and getting back (2) $5 gift cards and (1) $10egift card.

  17. jill

Awwww man! Wish I had seen this this morning before I spent nearly $25 at Starbucks this morning. In addition to my coffee I bought my daughter a bagel and milk to eat on the way to school, and a protein box and juice box for her school luch. (It was that kind of morning! Certainly wasn’t time to be on the internet checking deals, I guess.) It was crazy busy in there, maybe this explains why. I just thought it was a lot of people with “the Mondays”.

  18. Sandra

If anyone is signing up for zulily for the first time, I’d appreciate if you’d consider using my referral link. I’ve never posted a referral link before but unexpected travel to Johns Hopkins last mth & $3,000+ of medical bills pinched my budget badly this holiday! https://www.zulily.com/invite/scampany127

    • Brindha

I think I used ur link… Hope u get credit soon 🙂 Merry Christmas!

      • Sandra

Oh my goodness, thank you! I see zulily says I have one referral credit pending your order being “shipped!” If it comes in soon, I can get one of these starbucks cards at an affordable price for hubby for Christmas! He loves an occassional Starbucks on the way to work but we had to cut this treat from the budget a couple of years ago. Treat time (hopefully!) Thank you so much!

    • Sandra

      I used your link 🙂

      • Sandra

Thank you both! It’s been a hard year for me and having someone who doesn’t even know me do something kind for me touches my heart! Thank you, little Christmas angels! ((hugs))

    • Shel

      Sandra,
I used your link; I hope it worked & shows up for you soon:-) Praying things work out well for you!

  19. Candice

What a great deal, thanks for posting! I know I’ll have no problems spending the $25 by the end of the year 🙂 I’m going home for Christmas and this will be perfect for my shopping and coffee dates with my little sister! I shopped through Ebates as well for 1% cash back!

      • Louise Stompor

        Thank you so much!!

  20. Beth

Do you really have to pay “shipping” for the card? My shopping cart shows $7.95 in shipping charges?

    • Sara

No. There’s nothing to ship since it’s an e-gift card. Re-try it, it should be $25 flat.

  21. An

Hi, please use my referral link. I’d greatly appreciate it. And I could send you a $15 soap.com in return. Just leave your email below. Thanks.

Thanks for using it! I could partially see the email in my referral history. Is it @gmail.com, @yahoo.com or something else? Thanks again.

  22. Scarlett

Are these cards getting mailed or emailed?

    • tam childers

      Email I believe.

  23. Bekah

You can do this deal with the ebates if you’re new to ebates and get an additional $10 GC. I got the Target one.

    • Alyssa

thanks for reminding me! i had signed up for ebates but haven’t made a purchase through them because i’d either forget or they wouldn’t have the site. i shop online a lot, i just don’t actually purchase a lot lol.

  24. ian

Would this count towards purchases to Teavana stores? Or just Starbucks locations only??

  25. Candice

I know lots of other people have already posted theirs, but here’s my referral link in case someone is willing to share some love! Happy holidays, fellow Hip2Savers!
