I LOVED making my baby food when my 2 were little…they would eat so many more foods, they taste so much better fresh. And its cheaper to buy the veggies– wish I would have known about this!

  3. Lynne

Anybody know if they make reusable pouches for this? My daughter will eat anything in a pouch….even things she refuses to eat otherwise, thinking this could be a good investment but would hate always having to buy new pouches for it.

I saw on amazon you can buy reusable ones call “little green pouches”

    • Kris

I have looked into these several times. I can not decide if it is worth the cleaning and durability is sometimes questioned in the reviews!

We have it and used it many time we love it !!! Getting back into even though my daughter doesn’t eat baby food anymore but she loves applesauce!! Worth the money and yes they do make reusable pouches specifically for this but I don’t like them as much. Hope this helps. Oh clean up is a breeze too

    • Mandy

Yes, they do have reusable ones on amazon that you can stick in the dishwasher!

does anyone know if these work with other reusable pouchers like little green pouch, yummi pouch, etc?

saw this set marked down to 7.48 at my local Target

    • Kim

      Recently?

      • Sara

This was also marked down at my Target as were the pouches last weekend. They were on an end cap with other random clearanced baby items.

        • Kim

Thanks ladies. I’ll check our Target tomorrow.

          • Lisa

I was just there Monday and saw them

How do you clean the reusable pouches?

  6. Lori

I bought the little green pouches for my last child. They are awesome. I put all kinds of food in them and they are very easy to clean and durable. I rinse them out and then put them in the dishwasher to sanitize. After they are cleaned they do need to air dry for a couple of hours.

  7. Tina

I put homemade applesauce in these for my school age kids. Not cheaper but healthier!

  8. Mimi

Fresh apples are more healthier than cooked ones…nutrients are dead when cooked.

I will second the Little Green Pouches! They’re awesome. If you rinse them out right away, they’ll wash perfectly in the dishwasher. I sometimes need to go at the corners with a bottle brush–the one they sell on their website works perfectly for them if you need it. The best part about the company is their customer service–I had two issues, and they not only made them right, but went above and beyond what I expected. My son loved them when he was younger, and now that he’s older he drinks his green smoothies out of them. Their website is great, too–lots of yummy recipes for stuff to put in the pouches!

We got this as a Christmas gift for my son (he’s 6 months old) and I use it all the time. We make our own food for him, so its so nice begin able to take fresh baby food to freinds/family house, or when we go out to eat. I’d say its well worth the money. My 9 year old niece loves to have applesauce out of them too.

I buy all my Earth’s Best organic baby food pouches at Big Lots. They’re .33 each and only a month or two away from expiration date. I’ve ate one and it tasted totally fresh! The pouches at Target and other big box stores are close to $1.30 regular price. That really adds up!

It may be worth considering whether the time/effort put into cleaning the pouches is worthwhile! ☺️

    It’s coming up $19…

  13. Kim

Oh man. My Target didn’t have any. I priced matched next door at Babies R Us for $17.80 and used a gift card. Still not $7.48 like some if you lucky gals found but I’ll take it.
