I think the peroxides will end up being closer to .10 cents per bottle if I have done the math correctly.

    • lenmar01

I beg to differ on the peroxide deal. On page 18 the buy one get 1 50% off w/card doesn’t mention the Hydrogen Peroxide as an item. Please explain where it states that deal.

      • katttro

I did not see it in the ad, and it did not say so on the shelf at the walgreens store I went to, but the register showed buy 1 get 1 50% off.

        • lenmar01

Kattro, thanks for your help on this deal.

    • Ehrin

      No, it’s $.17. I did the deal tonight. 🙂

      • Catie

I did this same deal yesterday–.17 each 🙂

      • Angie

17 cents is still good.. does that include tax? because when i use the prices from up above I don’t get 17 cents is all.. I get .109 or if you round 11 cents a bottle.

        • Ehrin

          No, it’s definitely before tax.

          • Angie

Well I don’t understand…. the math doesn’t add up. according to the prices and deal it should be cheaper. Either way its a good price….

            • jac

              Here’s the math:

Walgreens hydrogen peroxide is BOGO this month. PLUS, this week there is an in-ad coupon that makes it 3/$1. Both promotions are valid this week, so when you buy 3/$1, you also get 3 more free. That’s 6/$1, or approximately $.17 each. If you buy exactly 6, you will see a total price of $1. Otherwise, the first two will be $.34 ($.17 each).

            • Angie

I wasn’t thinking clearly…. I thought it was take a $1 off 3 coupon. I am sorry. thank you for explaining it to me 🙂

            • jac

No problem, Angie! I was a bit confused, too, when I saw the signs in store. To be honest, I had to buy some to see how the register would ring them up before I knew how both deals would work together.

I can say that when I bought 6, my receipt showed a total charge of $1 for them.

              Happy shopping!

  2. Cat

The papertowels are a good deal even if you don’t have the SS coupons, right? Use the Walgreens Q and pay $10 for 2, get $3 back. $3.50 for 6 rolls. I struggle with knowing when paper products are a good deal or not.

  3. Daisy

    That’s weird with the peroxide!

  4. Amona

for the Reach Total Care Floss , what’s the “in ad coupon” ?

    • Angie

The coupon is in the Walgreens ad – its for $2 off with a limit of 3

  5. Jennifer

On the peroxide for every 3 you buy you also can get a free Walgreens First Aid Case – the kind use get that say.build your own first aid kit on them.

    • Elizabeth

They didn’t hand me a first aid case and I purchased 6

      • Julie

You probably have to find the first aid case BEFORE checking out.

    • Anita

Jennifer where does it show we should get a free first aid case? I want to be able to show my store when I go.

  6. Kristina

The Vaseline Lip Therapy with cocoa butter is my favorite go to lip protectant! Works awesome.

  7. Jessica

I was thinking with the peroxide maybe that’s including the tax? So maybe it’s the 9 or 10 cents per bottle but the extra 6 or 7 cents is including with tax?! Or maybe something how the computer registers the coupon?! Either way it’s still cheap lol

    • Ehrin

I think it’s how the computer registers the coupon & sale. I don’t understand it either. And even looking at my receipt doesn’t help! But it’s definitely $.33 (or $.34) each with in-ad coupon plus buy one, get one 50% off.

  8. Jana

What are some uses for hydrogen peroxide? I know when I was little my mom used it to clean cuts and scrapes but now we know your not supposed to. The only thing I’ve ever used it for is to get blood out of clothes. Oh, and one time I learned you use it to make a dog vomit if they’ve eaten something toxic or harmful to their health.

      • janag09

thank you so much! I’m going to stock up now!

    • Megan

Great for cleaning cutting boards/kitchen counters too.. and as a mouth wash once a week or so to help keep your teeth white! I plug up my bathroom sink and squirt it in and let it sit/bubble to get in the crease of the drain.. It’s basically just a disinfectant with bleaching properties, so you could use it on any bleach safe surface to clean 🙂

  9. Jocelyn

Hi sorry for my question but i really find walgreens shopping stressful a lot of things to consider and think about.
Im wondering if i buy 4 of the vaseline lip care in 1 transaction do i get 4000 points?

    • TJ

no, you have to do separate transactions :/

    • Sarah

Yes you will. Points you can do all in one transaction, they stack. The only time they don’t is when you have to spend X amount of dollars to get points. If the deal was spend $25 get
5K points, you can’t spend $50 in one transaction and get 10K.

  10. Jocelyn

    Thanks!

  11. Heather

Where in the store is the Vaseline lip therapy located? I did not find it by the other lip items at the one store I have looked at.

    • Amanda

The Vaseline lip therapy was on the end cap of the face wash/moisturizer isle at my walgreens in NC. It took me a while too…finally found them after searching.

    • Crystal

At my store it was by the lotions

  12. Yadi

Was Viva towels only food for yesterday. I went today and no rr bucks on them.

    • Kari

I got the viva RR today (1/4)

  13. Barb

I bought two of the dental floss, but didn’t get any points?

  14. Barb

Never mind, just figured out the problem, I didn’t have the beauty coupon scanned on page 9!

    • Youna Kimi

my ad doesnt have the beauty coupon. does everyone else have it?

  15. Jaime

I have both the 1/12 and 1/19 ss, yet I’ve looked through them both 10 times and can’t find any viva coupons. Am I crazy?? Can anyone tell me what’s on the front of yours? My 1/12 has Kens dressing and 1/19 has sweet baby rays….I am so confused! Maybe St Louis gets different coupons then everyone else :'(

    • Ehrin

Yes, Jaime, unfortunately different regions do get different coupons. 🙁

  16. Guest2

What does this mean on the floss deal “And, get back 350 Balance Rewards Points – Scan coupon on page 9 of ad” ?

  17. vicky

There was a glitch on the system so the hydrogen peroxide turn out to be 6=$2 start today. =(

  18. Youna Kimi

The healthy essentials doesnt have the reach floss coupon anymore

  19. Lucy

Has anyone tried the hydrogen peroxide today, 2/5? Someone indicated that it was a glitch at 6 for roughly $1.

    • Edward

I bought 6 last night, and the buy 1, get 1 half off did NOT apply. So I paid $2 for 6.

  20. Jennifer

The two links for $1/1 J&J Reach Total Care floss q are both out of prints. Has anyone found any other sites that are producing $1/1 qs for the J&J Reach Total Care floss? If so please share I printed the $1/2 q obviously would much rather have the $1/1 to sweeten the deal. Thanks in advance.

  21. Alissa

I did the peroxide deal today and the register did not take 50% off three as I bought six. I caught it and the cashier was able to manually enter the correct amount.

  22. Marie S.

The Vaseline lip therapy rang up $2.39 buy one get one half off in SoCal. I also didn’t get a Register Reward from the purchase of the Reach floss. Silly me, I forgot to use the in-ad coupon as well so the floss didn’t end up being a great price at all for me.

Oh well, you win some, you lose some!

  23. Mer

Did you see the Viva paper towel deal this week at Kmart? $3.99 with in-ad coupon and you can use $1/1 coupon making each pack $2.99, but a $3 catalina prints each time you buy 2? I haven’t seen this on other sites and have been trying to spread the word!
