I went to Kroger and bought groceries, bread included. I got home and looked at ibotta and saw this rebate. Perfect timing. Plus with the checkout 51 I was able to double dip. I love these apps.

Does anybody know what the date range of the receipt has to be to use this offer? I just went grocery shopping and bought bread two days ago and won’t be needing any for a while… :/
Go ahead and upload it! I used one from yesterday with offers I previously redeemed on it and it went through just fine.
I did this offer today (2/18) and it stated that the receipt must be between 2/11 and 2/18. You can submit a receipt regardless of when the rebate pops up as long as it’s not over a week old. HTH.

Thanks! I always keep my receipts for a week in case a new offer pops up. Sunday I bought 2 Jimmy Deen breakfast sausage and got a free loaf of bread at Target. Uploaded receipt to Checkout 51 and made 50 cents. Just uploaded to Ibotta and made another 50 cents. $1.00 money maker!

Does anyone else have problems with Ibotta? I scanned my bread and got the “approved” but then it goes back to “scan product.” Checkout 51 is so much better.
that happened to me once. I backed out of the app, then force closed through my phone settings. Logged back in and was able to submit receipt/upc.
How do you exactly do that on an iphone5?
Ibotta has an option for you to just scan a product to see if it’s eligible (very helpful when in store). You have to make sure you’re going thru the redeem section of the app when submitting.
That’s just it…the redeem section isn’t showing up anywhere at all.
Ibotta just had an app update. If you haven’t updated, do so, then restart your phone.

I guess you can only redeem this offer on bread on the bread isle. I bought Publix pre sliced bread from the bakery and got an error saying it didn’t match the offer. It works fine with Checkout 51 though. Sent an email. Hopefully they’ll consider it a match as well.
I bought bread at Winco and it also would not match offer. It was purchased from the bread isle so NOT all bread works. I have contacted them but no answer as to why.
I already redeemed my offer for the bread. But when you click on any item in the gallery, then click “Details”, it’ll give exclusions. For the bread, I’m pretty sure it excluded things like buns, sandwich thins, bagels and in-store baked breads from the bakery dept.
AFA Winco. Its not a store I’m familiar with. But I think you can email them with the product UPC (I think they may need a picture of the product too), and they can get the UPC loaded in their dbase.
Bread is FREE at Target when you purchase two boxes of select Cheerios (or other products). I just got confirmation that my receipt was accepted so this makes it a .50 money maker =)

We have a bread warehouse in town where all loaves are 99 cents every day. 🙂 Even without being able to do Ibotta it came out to 49 cents for a loaf thanks to Checkout 51! Love having 2 options available.
