I just got my first Crockpot a few weeks ago and I’m kicking myself for not buying one before. Throw a piece of pork + barbecue sauce in there on low for 8-10 hours depending on size, and voila! Pulled pork sandwiches. The pork just falls apart. Awesome.

I also am a huge fan of the crock pot. I have a roast in mine now that will be perfect when I get home.I just wanted to mention that I got a really cool digital one from my mom for Christmas and it was working fine when I left home one day but when I got home the power had blinked. I guess the digital models don’t auto reset because my food was only partially done. So I went back to using my standard crockpot unless I am going to be home. Just a word of caution.

I went to a superbowl party and one of my friends had the crock pot hook-up system and I was instantly jealous! My boyfriend said, “great, thanks, now we’re going to need one of those” because I had talked about it at great length about the product over Christmas… trying to get him to agree to buy them for everyone in the family… to make parties easier. Needless to say, that gift idea didn’t fly and we’re back to using our two, older units that work just fine but can’t be hooked together. I told him if we were to get engaged, I could just register for it! 🙂

Amazon reviews state this model runs way too hot. The price on Amazon is $50.20 and it comes with a dipping bowl.
