toys rus has it online for $12 so you can price match
You can price match and then use the cartwheel?
According to their website, you aren’t suppose to. 🙁
Actually, I just looked this up and this is c&p from their website:
“Target and Cartwheel coupons: Target and Cartwheel coupons will be applied before the price match is made. If the competitor price is still lower than the price after the Target and Cartwheel coupon has been deducted, the ad match can be adjusted to match the competitor’s price.
Combining both Target, Cartwheel and manufacturer coupons: the Target and Cartwheel coupon will be applied before the price match is made. If the competitor price is still lower than the price after the Target and Cartwheel coupon has been deducted, the ad match can be adjusted to match the competitor’s price. Once the price match is made the manufacturer coupon will be applied.”
HTH!
Forgot to include the link if you wanted to read it yourself. https://corporate.target.com/about/shopping-experience/shop-with-confidence#q5387
Yep, so no price match and then cartwheel. It’s the lower of: a) price match, or b) target price less cartwheel.
I interpreted it as cartwheel and target coupons will apply before price match and then MFC after that. Can you explain how it’s just cartwheel OR price match and not both? I’m not getting it :/
It is pretty confusing. I don’t understand why they would even put any of that info there, and not just say, “No cartwheel w/ price matching,” if that is the case. Mostly, I’m going off what the description implies, and the Totallytarget website creator, who seems to be a bit of a guru when it comes to Target. If anyone can confirm that cartwheel could be combined (honestly) with a price match, I’d love that.
How do you do price match at target? Can I show the price match in my phone?
they have a tablet or ipad at customer service for the employees to look up on their own, to confirm the other store’s pricing at that exact moment.
Went and did the battleship deal this morning. Was on rollback for $11.99. Awesome deal to start my gift closet. Thanks!
These were marked $11.99 at my Target today, too, so $5.99 after Cartwheel! Great for the gift closet. 🙂
Also found a couple FANTASTIC clearance deals – a Star Wars Electronic Blaster, Rebel Trooper version, marked “as is” (could see nothing wrong with it, both blaster and darts were intact!) on clearance – supposedly original price of $5.98, marked down to $1.56!! My daughter will be super excited over this one! (Looked these up on Amazon and eBay and they seem to run $30-40?!) Also a 3-pack of Thomas Kincade puzzles originally $9.99 marked “as is” (box was dented but still sealed) for $2.56, which I picked up for my mom. Check your clearance sections!!
I just thought that I would share that we got the Call of Duty Ghost game for PS4 for $25.99 tonight! Picked it up from electronics and took it to customer service desk. They price matched it to their online price which is $39.99 and then he scanned my cartwheel and it took another $14 dollars off! I also used my target visa and got another 5% off of that! That is a crazy good deal for a game that is selling for $59.99 in the store. He didn’t say anything about not being able to do both price match and cartwheel. Hope others can also get such a great deal!
