(Thanks, Ben!)
My son told me he really wants this game (played it at daycare). I hope there are some left and I can snag one. At this price, would make a great Easter basket addition!
My son has been wanting this game since he first saw the commercial! I’m sure it won’t last long. I will be sure to get one on my lunch break!
Cant beat that im grabbing two!
You can only get one at that price. Target limits w/ the Cartweel.
you can do them in separate transactions though.
I don’t think you can this time. Usually cartwheel discounts are good for 4 per transaction but this one specifically states “one per guest” I think the coupon will disappear after you use it once.
YOu would have to do separate transactions with cartwheel when it says limit one. I done it plenty of times but my Target only allows one price match per item. So if I wanted 2 they would only price matched one but I can used the cartwheel twice in separate transaction.. …Unless i get someone to come with me. .:)
It’s $19.99 in store. They will price match with their online prices, so make sure you have your smartphone ready, or have a printout of the screen.
all the targets I have been to have their own ipad (or some kind of tablet) they use to look up the price. You just bring the item to CS tell them you want to price match their online price, and they scan it on their device.
She sat there and waited for me to look it up, and never offered to do it for me. I’d err on the side of caution, but that’s just me,
At mine, they don’t have tablets (yet?). You have to show the ad/price, either paper or on your phone, to them.
just called and they said they wouldn’t price match the online price for me. 🙁
I loved this game as a child. What a great price to start collecting for the holiday season or toys for tots.
My thoughts, as well!
I thought they will deduct the MQ 1st before cartwheel.
No, they deduct Target Qs before cartwheel and MQ after cartwheel
MQ’s have no affect on the price the cartwheel deducts. If the $5 coupon was a Target coupon, the scenario would be different – 12.99 – $5 Target = 7.99 – cartwheel —so they price would be 3.99 after cartwheel IF YOU WERE USING A TARGET COUPON. Does that make sense? LoL probably not. I’m horrible at explaining things.
19.99 in store new york
I have read on another site that these are actually priced $19.99 in store? Can anyone confirm? As for price matching their online price, will they do that with Cartwheel in the mix?
Depends on your Target. Mine allows me to price match + coupons and Cartwheel
Go to the customer service counter..ask them to price match the online price of $12.99..My stores price was $18.99, they had no problem price matching for me..the lady didnt even look it up, she just asked me what the online price was and entered it in 🙂
Here’s their policy:
Combining both Target, Cartwheel and manufacturer coupons: the Target and Cartwheel coupon will be applied before the price match is made. If the competitor price is still lower than the price after the Target and Cartwheel coupon has been deducted, the ad match can be adjusted to match the competitor’s price. Once the price match is made the manufacturer coupon will be applied
Since the recent update to the coupons.com when I had to install the coupon printer again, I have not been able to print coupons. I have even tried the help option and successfully printed the test coupon. But each time I try to print reg. coupons it prompts me to install the printer update. Thanks for your help and suggestions. using mac with safari. do not have firefox or any other browser to use.
Try uninstalling and re installing. I had the same problem. HTH
I will try that, Thanks so much! 🙂
I have had this problem as well. I have tried everything including contacting CS and still am unable to print. It makes me sad.
Oh I hope there are some left when I get there! My son has been asking for this game!
Just got home from running to Target JUST for this. It worked PERFECTLY! I just took it directly to Guest Service. Got it for $1.49! (+tax).
My target would not price adjust on top of cartwheel
I called 3 local stores and asked them and each of them said it was store policy. They absolutely should price match, do the cartwheel, and take the coupon! I’m on my way to do it now!
Just went get this game. IT is priced 19.99 in store. So i had it priced matched to their site and used coupon and cartwheel and got it for 1.49! Awesome deal! stocking up for my kids year long for xmas and their birthdays!
Has anyone had any luck with these deals by ordering for in store pickup and having them to apply the discounts once it is picked up?
I just called my Target to have them hold one for me at the Customer Service desk
Thanks Collin!!! 🙂
My target would not price match and use cartwheel. They said I had to choose one or the other. Lame. So I got it for 5.59.
That is actually the correct way, per their policy. My Target will not apply a PM until AFTER the items have been paid for. That way they can see if the Target promos are lower than the competitor. So for this game, it is cheaper to apply CW to the $19.99 price and pay $5.
If I were to PM the $12.99 price, I would only be able to use the manuf coupon, bringing it to $7.99.
Does anyone know if I can take my receipt in to get a price adjustment with the cartwheel if I purchased this game Monday?
Yes
I just bought this 🙂 Unfortunately it was $19.99 at my store, but gave her the $5/1 coupon then had her scan the cartwheel, and another $10 was taken off….for for anyone wondering, no matter what order they have to have their coupons in, the half off comes off of the actual price, not the price after coupon. So. Paid around $5. Still, awesome. Thanks for the heads up on this one!!
You should’ve price matched their online price! =)
Does anyone have trouble with the coupons.com? I tried to print this and others and it says printed on the screen but nothing prints… this seems to be the only website i have issues with. i deleted and reinstalled the printer software from their website already. any insight is appreciated!!
It says it is $30.00 now. I missed it.
What’s $30? the price of the game on target.com? b/c its still showing $12.99 for me.
Sadly I got this last week with the 10% cartwheel, still a good deal but now I can’t find the receipt to do an adjustment. I don’t think I’ll get there to get another one today to put in the gift closet
If you paid with a cc or Target Red Card they should be able to look up the receipt for you.
Got mines this morning for $5! It was 19.99, there were 2 left in my northern va store.
Does Target still price match with Amazon? If so, the game is currently listed on Amazon for $12.99.
Just got one for $1.96!! They matched it to their online price of 12.99!
Has anyone seen it at Wal-Mart? I read somewhere that they are around $5.00 but I’m guessing is the small size one. I will go later to target.
12.88 on rollback, and they didn’t have too, but they honored the cartwheel at my store 🙂 and didn’t even have to drive to target!!
I just grabbed the only 1 on the shelf. Price marched Target.com, used Cartwheel, $5 & .05 bag credit = with tax $1.93! Didn’t have my Red Card but I’m cool with less than $2 for a $20 game. And it’s going to a great cause so it’s more than worth it!
My store had it for $24.99 but they let me price match the online price, use cartwheel and the coupon! Great deal for in my daughter’s easter basket!
My store had it for $12.99, even though the shelf price said $19.99. Price check before you take it up to the front, so you can potentially save the cashier/yourself the time 🙂
I just grabbed two 🙂 !! in two different Target Stores (one game per store) So that way I do not hassle with anybody. They price match it with no problem with target.com and the MC and CWC went through with out any problem.
No luck for me on this deal! Waste of time 🙁 the first Target that i went to would not even accept the MFQ after price matching, let alone Cartwheel. (I did later call the manager to let him know what the policy says online;he said their printed policy says it is not allowed)
The second target that I went to also would not accept the MFQ but did give me price match and Cartwheel (makes absolutely no sense) so it was $7.01 after tax. Sigh.
Might want to print this out for next time they refuse a MQ: https://corporate.target.com/about/shopping-experience/shop-with-confidence?ref=sr_shorturl_pricematch#q5387
Sorry, but the manager is correct. All Target coupons (including CW) have to be applied before doing a PM, to make sure of the price. If Walmart has the item for $12.88, and Target has it $19.99, using CW brings the price to $9.99, which is now lower than WMs price. Therefore no PM. They are not supposed to PM the $12.88 AND give CW discount. I know people are posting that their store allows it. But it is incorrect.
Can I use a coupon when price matching?
A guest can use coupons when price matching per Target’s normal coupon policy. When the guest presents a coupon(s), these steps will be followed:
Manufacturer coupons: manufacturer coupons will be applied after the price match is made.
Target and Cartwheel coupons: Target and Cartwheel coupons will be applied before the price match is made. If the competitor price is still lower than the price after the Target and Cartwheel coupon has been deducted, the ad match can be adjusted to match the competitor’s price.
Once the price match is made the manufacturer coupon will be applied.
Reminder: we accept one manufacturer coupon and one Target coupon for the same item unless either coupon prohibits it. Target does not ad match a competitor’s coupon-required offers.
That is about the PM/CW. You most certainly can use a Manuf coupon. I’d go back to the store and have them do a missed coupon.
Actually the manager was totally incorrect if going by policy. They should hve done price match and mfq.
I should have known to read policy first and not just try the deal as shown online. I just hate that i ended up getting an even worse deal than should be technically allowed, let alone din’t get the super deal.
12.99 at my store in TX!!
Read this https://corporate.target.com/about/shopping-experience/shop-with-confidence?ref=sr_shorturl_pricematch#q5387 for clarification that you cannot do cartwheel AFTER a PM
I am so glad I checked the comments while I was in store. I never would have thought to price match and was ready to pay $5. Got one for $2.12 after tax in Murfreesboro, TN.
Has anyone found this in travel form? I was told Walmart but no luck calling around. If someone has found it, can I get the UPC number off the box.
I Just Did This And My Target Said They Will Only Do One Or Ther Other.Like if A Price Match I Can’t Use The Cartwheel.
i had a bad experience with target yesterday. There was a 50% off cartwheel for the Elmo junction train set. It was $44.99 @ Target well Amazon had it for $24.99 so I went to price match it and the cashier said that with Amazon Target won’t price match if it has the word offer in it. She said it have to give a specific price which it did.She was soooo wrong, I’ve PM at that location b4 with amazon. Ex on Amazon it says offers from 24.99 but when you clicked on the item it gave the specific price. I was sooooo mad. Kind of leary of doing deals there now 🙁
I just paid $1.87 with tax! Thank you, Collin!!! 🙂
Just scored this for 1.50! There was a woman there grabbing the last four games, but she saw I was looking it & gave one to me. Thank you!!! Also got Frozen yesterday at TRU for $8 something with the deal you posted (I had $3 off TRU cash AND got a free Dr Brown Easter bottle)!! Scores the last couple days, they make me giddy!!! 🙂
It was 19.99 in my target, so I asked at guest services and they price matched it to the 12.99 that I pulled up on my phone! SCORE!!
Got one for $1.50 earlier today and im having my wife download Cartwhell on her phone and going to get another one….after i print another coupon, of course.
Target will price match their online prices! So still $1.50! Woot! Woot! 🙂
I just got the last one at my store! Paid $1.83!
It did not work for me. I PM’d with their website for $12.99, but when I gave him my cartwheel to scan, nothing came off?! I then handed over my $5 off coupon, so ended up paying $7.99, I’m debating on returning and trying again at a different location.
That happened to me when I PM’d Jenga a few months ago. CW only took off a few cents after PM and MQ. I pointed it out to the cashier but she couldnt do much . I felt like I was cheated.
got it! $1.59. THANK YOU!
I didn’t try to price match but they were only $18.99 at the store I went to so $4.50 after Cartwheel and coupon. They had Pinkie Pie’s Purse (My Little Pony) on clearance marked $9.98, it scanned at $5.98 and there’s a Cartwheel for 20% off. I didn’t purchase it because it was just a small figure, two bows and the little purse which seems like it wouldn’t get used much so I’m not sure if the Cartwheel works on clearance.
Got mine! Luckily there was one left!
I went to customer service, she prove matched online, scanned cart then coupon! BOOM $1.49! 😊
I got mines!!! Thanks!!! $2.09 with tax!!!
Target in Winter Park, FL was all out 🙁 Was going to try Colonial or Waterford, but didn’t want to make the haul just for this… good luck!
Got it – thanks Hip2Save
Thank you Collin!!!
