You can also use the Kindle credit for these!

    • Allie

I am a little confused! What Kindle credit? Thanks!

      • Tara

Allie, check you emails. I got an email for a credit of 2.19 or 2.29 I forget, because of the result of a lawsuit or something 😉 so they credited accounts and you can use it for kindle books or books

What age group are these books good for?

    • Kara

Generally 3+. They are paper pages, so not good for little hands that might rip the book. But overall, they are good summary books of movies or other stories. Bright pictures.

I read books with regular pages to my 9 month old. He just doesn’t have access to them to rip them up but he loves the pictures.

Little Mermaid is also only $2.25! 🙂

YES! It’s my favorite! I think I’m going to order these for my Christmas stash for my nieces and nephews and put a note with it that this was Aunt Brandi’s favorite book and “I wanted you to have one too”.

Needed a book for the Easter basket. Thanks!!!

Thank you! My daughter wanted the Tangled one and I’ve struck out on seeing it again at Barnes and Noble — perfect!:)

Just bought four. My daughter is only one, but we have already started collecting these and looking at them together 🙂

I hope the pastor’s wife from the blocks post last week sees this and is able to score a bunch of them. These would be cute books to put with the blocks for all the baby showers that you are going to. It would also be SUPER cute to pair the pokey little puppy with a baby blanket.

I recommend that everyone checks out thrift stores, salvation army, flea markets, and goodwills for books. I have found many golden books over the years. I have over 150 golden books including every single one above that I paid .99 or less per book. I have over 50 Dr. Seuss book that I got for .99 or less, and much much more. I have an amazing book collection for my two boys and daughter. I have been collecting since my pregnancy of my first child 5 years ago. Seriously, don’t buy retail.

    • Tara

I agree. My local good will sells them 4/1.00
If you are buying as a gift though I think these are good prices.

    • pandurrz

That’s exactly what we do! We go and get golden books for 25 cents all day long. We also have a VCR in my daughter’s room since one of the thrift store does all the VHS’s for 25 cents. We have gotten so many Disney and Nick Jr VHS that way.

Agreed. You can definitely find these for cheap at thrift shops, rummage sales, etc. I have found quite a few that way, but I still bought some of these. $2.25 is a great price, and I can’t be sure I’ll come across some of these titles again.

I feel so old…and I’m only 36…and maybe my golden books were my mom’s hand me downs…but I could swear they said .49¢ on them! These books bring me back! 🙂

  12. Sarah

Awesome! I just bought a ton of these! My kids will be so excited to get this package 🙂

My WalMart (Branson, Mo) has the Frozen Golden Books for $2.39 as their regular price. It might be worth checking if someone wasn’t a prime member.
