Looking for a unique Easter activity this year? Consider hosting a fun night time Easter egg hunt with these easy to make glow in the dark eggs! This is something kids (and adults) of all ages will love! The supplies you need can most likely be found at your local dollar store. Consider stuffing the eggs with tickets or notes to create an exciting scavenger hunt.

Glow sticks and Easter Egg hunt Hip2Save

 For this craft you’ll need:

  • glow stick bracelets
  • plastic Easter eggs

I suggest using the larger sized eggs from the Dollar Tree and bracelet sized glow sticks. Just wrap the glow stick around one finger, stuff it in one side of the egg and close the egg.

My kids were more than excited for this Easter egg hunt! I hope yours have fun with it as well. 🙂

Another thing we have done is to crack open a few light sticks (the pkg said non toxic but I wld use older kids) & let them paint some eggs in the evening or a darkened (not dark) room.

I hate dying eggs with a passion so this is right up my alley…I’d probably do a dark easter egg hunt and put a quarter in each of these as well

The way this winter was going, here in Michigan, I was thinking of keeping all the eggs white, and hiding them out in the snow. Here ya go!! Good luck kids! 😛

We have done this the past 2 years and it is the highlight of the day for my kiddos. We have a big get together during the day with tons of cousins, so we save this for the evening after everyone is gone, just for ky kiddos.

We did this one last year. My kids have mentioned doing this again. They loved finding eggs in the dark. 🙂
