I got the last 2 at the store near me in Port Jefferson. They were not marked, but I asked the guy on the phone to do a price check. He was shocked at the price. He put them on hold for me. If they are not marked clearance in the other stores, maybe they will have some left. There are many Staples on Long Island and I think it would be worth it of you called around. This just happened to be the 1st store I called.

Is this for both models or just one?
I got one! They had two and asked me if I wanted both, but I decided to give someone else a chance. When I got there a lady was walking out the door with the other one! I called 8 stores and none had any. Then the 8th store told me the first store I called should have two! I called them back and they found them way up in the top of a shelf out of view!
I just called my last store and thry told me yhe 1st one i called had 2 also!! However when i called the 1st to check again they said no they did not…but they also said they are doing a big re stock now that will not be done till Friday, so keep checking back…we will see!

I was lucky to find 1 in my area Northeast PA, but need another for my twins. I immediately went next store to Best Buy with my receipt to price match. They did everything they could to get out of their price match. After 30 minutes of my time they came up with since it is no longer in stock at Staples (I mistakenly told them I bought the last one), they couldn’t do it. They told me to return it to Staples so it would be in stock and then they migjt match it. I will never shop at Best Buy again!!
You should go to a different best buy and try there!

Very disappointed with this one. I had one on hold at our staples went to get it and they sold it to someone else. The manager was very rude and wouldn’t do anything about it. After lying to us multiple times about what happened to it and not doing anything for our troubles I finally asked for cooperates number. Same thing happened to me!! I confirmed 3 times that they are putting the correct one under my name with the right price and everything and when I went to pick it up, the lady gave me the boys version (full price) and when I protested she said oh we don’t have that we must have put the wrong one on hold. I said umm no you definitely put the right one on hold because I has asked the person I talked to to make sure and confirm it and they did. But within an hour they either gave it to someone else or one of the employees took it for themselves. So so disappointed in Staples and their lack of customer service 🙁

Scored one in New Hartford, NY! The store held it for me when I called right after the notice went up on Hip2Save. I was going to pick up another if they still had it, but they sold it before I got there. I’m happy to have found one! Thank you Hip2Save!!!
Are people matching this deal at Best Buy? What is their policy on that?
I called staples today at 2:37pm. They had 4 on clearance. I asked them to place one in hold for me and they told me that because it’s a clearance item they could not hold. I left my house at 3pm and arrived there at 3:45pm. “They had sold out”. I say this because another lady was also looking for this deal. She to me she had called less than 10 min. Before and they still had 3 available. I got someone from the store to look into it but the she couldn’t find any of them. The other lady was also speaking to am employee asking if maybe they were misplaced in the stored. I got the vibe the employees put them away for themselves because the lady mentioned she had a 4 year old who would really like to have this, and the employee very defensively replied that she too had a 4 year who want this and added that she also had a one year old as well so she really needed this item. I just found the entire ordeal very awkward because no one mentioned having sold a leap pad they just could not be found. I don’t mind missing out on a deal but if the employees put them aside for themselves I never had a chance. I wish they would have lied. At least then I wouldn’t have wasted gas and time.

Hey guys if you have a toys r us nearby check out the leap frog games, I found the ones from Black Friday that came with a character marked down to $10, minnie, monsters u, and hello kitty. There’s a brown colored sales sticker and so with the bonus % clearance deal the final price is $10, down from $24.99.

My deal finder friends and I were able to snag three in Central Florida! Called 9 stores and was lucky to have a friend that lived 60 miles from me. All our kids got summer birthday gifts purchased and ready to go!

I’m pretty sure a lot of these will end up on Ebay for full price. No one is going to sell theirs at the $17.50 price.
Called Mansfield ct who said no store in the local ct, ma, ri area has them in stock according to item number look up. However, clearance isn’t always accurate in the system. Awesome deal but I’m not gonna drive around for three hours in hopes of finding one. 🙁

The second store (Hillsborough, NJ) had 2 and when I called the guy put me on hold for almost 15 mins but then he found 1. I asked if he had another and they did not.
