Love your ideas! Mine aren’t as creative, but my boys love these bags for their handheld video games and/or action figures when we go on trips. The pockets inside are perfect for separating things and the size of the kit makes it easy to put in a backpack when we get where we’re going.

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

Yes! Perfect for that too, thanks

Very creative! I am using mine to make a Doctor/Nurse themed Operation Christmas Child bin. 🙂 I got a Doc Mcstuffins puzzle, doctor coloring book, small first aid kit, and a small pretend doctor kit to go with it so far. My kiddos go to the doctor next week – I am going to ask if they’ll donate a few pairs of gloves, surgical masks and anything else!

PS I love the idea for the travel cosmetic set too.. I might steal that idea. ;P

    • Jen

      That’s an awesome idea!

Thank you for the great ideas!!! I have one that I keep in the car. It includes band aids, anti-itch cream, Neosporin, First-Aid gel, gauze & tape, pain relievers (for adults and kids), tissues, hand sanitizer, eye drops and sunscreen. It is perfect for family outings!

Can you buy anything other than the hydrogen peroxide to get the bag? What do you do with so much Hydrogen peroxide? TIA.

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

I’ve been using peroxide in laundry stains, specifically white undershirts! It’s great.

    • Sarah

Go on Pinterest and look up uses for hydrogen peroxide. It’s amazing!

  7. Lori

Thanks! I already have a few of these from a CVS deal. The baby gift and play set ideas are amazing.

Google uses for hydrogen peroxide, there are tons of uses. Ex. Laundry whitener, homemade tooth whitener, kill germs, put with water in house plants.

  10. Jennifer

Thanks so much for these ideas, Lina! I didn’t realize how cute these bags are until I saw your pictures. I wasn’t interested in even getting these til now, lol.

We have two from awhile back. We use them to carry our medicine in while traveling.

    • Jessie

I’m going to get one of these bags when I get my 3/$1.00 peroxide. How much does these bags cost regularly? I saw bags that was walgreens and the other were Johnsons and Johnsons. I didn’t want to get the wrong brand and size of bag. Thanks!

    • Justina

Check with the store, they can often answer questions like this, but I think if you want the J&J bag, purchase name brand items, like Band Aid, Neosporin, and Benadryl, the cardboard covering on the bag might have a listing of brands. The Walgreens bag I believe goes for Walgreens branded items and remember J&J might have coupons for the same brands and the Walgreens bag might have coupons for Walgreens brands.

  15. Steph

I want that cute little yellow guy what is it and where did you get it ?

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

It’s a bee baby wash cloth from Dollar Tree 🙂

      • Steph

        So adorable thanks !

  16. Kim

I will use my kits for Operation Christmas Child boxes.

  17. Carla

The hydrogen peroxide deal did NOT work. The cashier told me hydrogen peroxide was not a qualifying item.

  18. Kristen

So is there anything in the First Aid bag? Or is it just a bag?

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

It’s just the bag 🙂 and a coupon book.

  19. Mia

I use mine to keep my daughter’s EPI pen in. I wrote her name with Sharpie in the white cross area. Some very cute ideas 🙂

  20. Lara

I was thinking the bags would be great to give to homeless people directly or to drop off at shelters.

I used mine as teacher “survival” bags for teacher appreciation week. I filled them up with freebies like gum, travel Advil, sanitizer, lotion from B&BW, cute band-aids, lip balm and chocolate bars. The teachers loved them and I didn’t pay anything for them. 🙂

    • Lina (Hip's Modern Martha)

      Wow, awesome idea! Cute!

  22. Erin

Thank you for the ideas, I had three in my stash from last year and I was thinking what a waste! Love the kids toys idea.
