Thank you much for posting this! I just got a amazing deal. Got 2 12 piece sets and a grill basket. It was $61 but I had a $10 off $30 from my birthday email. Plus I had a spend $50 get $10 so I spent $55 after tax and I’m getting $60.51 back! Got both my dad and my husband’s father’s day gifts. Better then free! Plus just got a spend $25 in points get $20 back on my email receipt.

Did this deal this morning and got really nice Christmas presents for my Dad and Father In-Law…I had to call customer service for the points but he added them right onto my acct. So I went straight to the store and got a pair of high heels I had been eyeing and 3 outfits for my girls!!!! Thanks Collin!

Just did it and it worked.. 🙂 Got the grill basket and the $45 BBQ tool set. 🙂 Spent $62 + free shipping, and got $52.91 back worth of SYW points.

Collin, great work with your savings! i love your spunky attitude when it comes to getting freebies! Reminds me of myself! Huge follower of this website! great deals!

  2. Daisy

I had a horrible experience trying to redeem this deal, so better luck to everyone else out there!

    • steph

Worked easy for me. Hardest part is finding items in stock from sears.com and not other shippers.

      • Lynn l

        Steph,
There is a tab to select “sears only” products; this helped me tremendously. Good luck!

      • Daisy

Sears took it upon themselves to cancel half of my order even tho my local store had the items I ordered in stock. Some kind of screw-up with their internal system. It was such a hassle.

  3. April

Would not let me use my current points, did anyone else have this problem?

    • steph

Collin said keep total above $50 and don’t use current points. It will mess you up otherwise.

      • April

That does me no good I have $50 in points I could use instead of paying with cash. Still a great deal but I prefer to use points I have.

    • CGY

Same here. I had $10 in surprise points, but when I applied them, it reduced the 50,000 points earned for the grilling tools down to 500. Went through the process a few times trying to figure out what I was doing wrong and tried looking up info online about redeeming points and earning points in the same order, but didn’t have any luck. I should have just called customer service. Oh, well, didn’t work out for me after spending quite a bit of time searching through all the items and trying to find ones we could use a gifts, which also qualified for the deal. I was hoping to be able to get my total within $55 dollars, so my out of pocket after getting points back would have been $5 or less. Didn’t work with the free shipping either.

      • ginger

Maybe u can try it again. This is what I did last night. I put $66 worth of items in my cart . First, I applied my $10 back when you spend $50 code then second, SEARS5OFF50 which put my total down to $61. Then I used my surprised points $10/$50 + $1 from local ad that put my total down to $50 which I paid with my sears giftcard that I bought from Kmart (which is also a $14 MM). so, all in all its a MM for me after all the codes… got $66 worth of items FREE, got my 60,000 points back and the best thing is shipping is free.
In ur case try getting your total to $65. Apply code SEARS5OFF50 before checkout. then use your $10 surprised points to make your total down to $50. Pay the rest with giftcard. btw, remember to check your SYWR app if you have additional coupons on your acct. and if your lucky enough to get the $10 back in points you can put the code too. Good luck and hope u can get on this deal too. 🙂

  4. toniann

Thank you so much for this awesome deal. I too did it this week, and somehow one of my items got cancelled and I didn’t get my points, I called Sears up and they saw I did purchase the $50 originally and credited me the $50 in points! So the next day I ordered a Miter saw for my husband for Father’s day and wound up only paying .97!!!!!!!!!! AMAZING

  5. brandice

Great deal for those who can use it

  6. Sarah B.

Purchased yesterday & got my points back today! What an amazeball deal!! 🙂 Thanks so much!!!!!

  7. Amber

Your total has to be above $50 when you pay and you cannot redeem points to pay in order to get the $50 back in points 🙂

    • Janet

You can redeem points, you just can’t go under 50 to get the 50000 pts. I did this deal today and I already have my points.

  8. Melissa

Is there a limit to how many times you can use this

  9. Nandry

    Can you roll this deal??

  10. April

Are people able to roll points they already have?

    • steph

      No

  11. Carrie

I’m wondering how long the points take to show up? I followed the link in this post to add qualifying items to my cart, redeemed points and was still over $50 total… Im hoping I still get my points!

    • Barb

You won’t get your points unless your receipt from you order states you earned the 50,000 points. Some items don’t qualify anymore even though the links above say they do.

  12. traci

I did it twice and got two separate $50 in points. you can not use points to get points like walgreens policy. You can use the $5 off coupon online but make sure the total is %50 after coupons. use store pick up to save on shipping. I bought $50 sears gift card at rite aid (u get $10 to spend at rite aid) and use that to pay my grilling stuff.

    • lorigibe

      Smart shopping!

    • Rose

How can I do two orders? I tried it, but it doesn’t show additional Sears $50 points.

  13. robin

how do you know what is a participating grilling accessory?

    • steph

Use her link above and they will show up.

    • Happymama

Use Colin’s link. Also I think the blue button that says “+ earn points” means they are participating items (right under the button that says “add to cart”).

  14. Lisa

Saw there is a groupon today – $10 for $20 worth of merch. Can only be used in store. Wonder if you could combine these two??

    • Lilian

I believe that’s only for apparel.

    • Tres

There is a $10 off $50 clothing purchase for Shop Your
      Way Rewards

  15. cherylwegener

I ordered $65 (including S&H) worth of grilling items to use as part of a Father’s Day gift and had no trouble getting credited the $50 in reward points. Thank you!

    • lorigibe

cherylwegener, were you awarded your points right away?

  16. Rita

How long are the points good for? I’ve never used points before so I’m unfamiliar with the particulars!

    • Susan

      1 year

  17. Monique Rizzo

Yes, when do the points show up in your account? I am new to Shop your Way?

    • Sarah B.

Mine didn’t show up right away. I bought the stuff yesterday and they were in my account this morning.

    • Beth C

I was told the points will show up as soon as your order is “processed”. You can go to your order page and it will tell if the order is processed or not.

  18. Rei

I ordered this morning and my items already shipped and got my points! And I mentioned this in the video post – if you have a kmart nearby they are currently running a gift card promo( maybe regional?) – buy a $25 kmart gc, receive a $5 bonus gc and 2000 points (limit2). Just another way to stretch your money a little further ;). Ps – I only used the gift cards and not the points to purchase the grilling accessories.

  19. paula

I have done this deal twice and the points showed up as soon as I got my email to pick up in store. Love getting stuff for free!!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!

  20. lisa

Does it tell you at the bottom the number of points you’re earning for next order? Mine only says 2.40 and my order total is 50.10 before tax… I just don’t want to place the order and not get my $50 in points

    • Rei

You might not have qualifying items in your account or maybe you’re not signed in? You will see the $50 in points on your next order before you check out.

      • lisa

I double checked and all of the items were participating items. I had such a horrible experience with customer service this week (still unresolved) and am really hoping there will be no issues…

        • lisa

I called customer service and the added the points to my cart. i had put an extra item in my cart that was $20 and used $20 in points for that item. The points came off of each item when they sent me an email confirmation. SO i called them and they said it was no problem and i got the points! yeah!

  21. Grace

How long till the points are available for use?

  22. Blanca

Purchased $57 of grilling items for hubby and will pick up at store this afternoon. I also have my $50 worth of points so picking up a birthday gift later for him as well. He is so spoiled 🙂 Thanks Colin for all the great deals!

  23. Nicole

How long do the points from this deal last? Are they good for a promotional period, or do you get the normal year or so to use them?

    • Brindha

I ordered last week it shows I have a year to use them!

  24. Katy

Just placed my order and was able to use the promo code! 14 piece deluxe grill set, non-stick grill basket, smoker box, grill stone, and a beer can chicken roaster for $53.76 total. I selected pick up in store and the order was ready within minutes of submitting everything. I’m very excited to pick this up after work. I intend on using the $50 in points to get ready for our baby due this October! 🙂 It also unlocked a special offer earned with the purchase: $20 back in points on next purchase of $100 or more.

  25. Lynne

Awesome!! Got $53 worth of grilling items and got $63 back in points!! I had a $10 back in points when you spend $50. Got picked to host a crowdtap McCormick grilling party and they sent all the great spices…..now I’ve got a great goodies basket to give away!!

    • Lynne

After picking up my order I did some shopping in store to use my $60 in points. Spent $48 (free after points) got back a $10 card for spending over $40 on apparel and a surprise $10 in points as well!!! Now just checked my email and have a $10 in points wyb $30 and printed at register a $10 in points wyb $50!! Thanks Collin for helping out the clothing budget this month!! Cheap summer clothes for the family!!

  26. Melissa

I ordered online, it said that I earned points but it didn’t say $50.00. Anyone else see thise

  27. Jenn

I have $51.56 worth of grilling accessories from the link in my cart, all three are sold from Sears and I have store pickup chosen, and all three have the blue “+ earn points” under them. But for some reason it says I’m only going to earn $2.58 in points on this purchase. I don’t want to put the order through and not get the points! Anyone else have this problem?

    • fran

Are you using points from your balance? It won’t work if you are, you need to spend it out of pocket!

      • Jenn

No I only have like a dollar in points so even after points it’s $50.07. I can’t figure it out! 🙁

        • Susan

You can’t use ANY points at all–even if it will keep your total over $50. Remove any points applied.

          • Jenn

Still says I’m only earning $2.58 in points, even when I don’t apply any points at all.

            • lisa

call… i used points b/c i ordered $20 in car stuff and used $20 in points. They could see online that i purchased $50 in grilling adn then added the points to my account.

    • Barb

Add a BBQ cover, that seems to be the trick in getting the points.

      • Jenn

Hm. Just tried that, still nothing. I always have such issues with Sears/Kmart. But thanks for the tip.

        • Jenn

Okay I just tried 80 different combinations of things until I found things that gave me the $50 in points and are things I could use! What a hassle but glad I got it to work!

    • Janet

You can use points. You just can’t go under $50 after points are used. I made a purchase and used some points and I earned the 50000 pts.

      • Susan

Mileage varies on this…I had $4 in surprise points when you spend $50 and tried to apply them (still staying over $50 out-of-pocket), but it would not work. I called customer service and said it couldn’t be combined–to forego the $4 for the $50.

        • Janet

Idk maybe because they were surprise pts?? Idk I used the few I had and was able to earn them. Odd how it’s different for everyone.

  28. Bobbie

We have a new grill and had to get some accessories. Thanks what a great deal. Now what to buy with…
    You’ve Earned$52.64 in points*

  29. Tracy

I went through ebates so I hope to get 6% cash back also.

  30. Tina

If you have a discover card, it’s 10% cashback=) Also, does anyone know what happens if you return something? Do they deduct your shop your way points? Or am I not allowed to return/exchange, I bought a tool set that my father in law already has wanted to go exchange it for something else.

  31. Vicki

Can you use your rewards points for anything in Sears.com? Even the items that are not sold by sears or Kmart?

  32. suzyq

Just got a great deal with my $50 points if anyone is interested in purchasing a blender. I purchased a Ninja Blender (yay!) on sale for $99.99 and get $20 back in points plus an additional $5 in points when you spend $30 on home goods (both promos are in the weekly ad). I used a $10/$25 purchase in the coupon center then I had an extra surprise 10000 points to use today. So after my $60 in points I paid $30 and got back $25 in points. AMAZING!!! Presents for the hubby for Father’s Day and presents for me!!….and now points to use for the kiddos 🙂

    • luv2save

Is it possible for you to tell me the item number? So does it mean you ended up getting it for $5. Sorry I am a little confused here but would love to get some more detail on this offer. Thank you so much in advance.

      • ang

        Item#: 00819333000P

The way I did it is using my 50 dollars in pts and I had a coupon for 10 off 25 and earn points 10 dollars in pts for spending 35 (load at the coupon center at sywr website) so it was 99.99 minus 10 dollar coupon and 50 points from the grilling deal it comes to 39.99 and you get 25 dollars in pts from the weekly ad promos and another 10 from the coupon so spend 39.99 oop but get 35 back in pts so yeah its like paying 5 bucks pretty sweet. Thanks again suzyq

    • ang

Thanks for the tip I so want to do this hopefully I get my 50 points soon, do you know when this sale is over?

  33. CB

I got the deal!! To make it even sweeter I had $10 off $25 sears order in my shop your way rewards surprise points/coupon that expires today. Total order $66.26 less SYWR $10.01 =$56.25 plus 7% back with shop at home and earned $50.53 in SYWR points = $1.78 !!

  34. Sarah

There is a 10% off your sears purchase if you use your bank of america credit card. Just add the offer. That makes this a MM$$$$.

  35. Julie

Does anyone know where your pin is located? It says I need my pin to redeem my points but I have no idea what it is.

    • Julie

      Nevermind I found it

  36. Angie

WOW! It worked for me! I never get lucky like that 🙂

  37. Paula

Ran over to sears instead of using shipping so I would have it in time for Father’s Day. I also stopped by Kmart across the street first to get two $25 gift cards plus the $5 extra gift cards and $2 in points for each. Bought $65 worth of stuff at Sears with my gift cards that I paid $50 for and got $65 back in points to use! Gotta LOVE Totally FREE stuff!! I think I got $65 back because I loaded the $10 back when you buy $50 coupon to my card and I had a $5 in points coupon from the mustache thing they did last week. THANKS COLLIN!!

    • Rose

How to get $2 in points? Which card were you using? How to get and load the $10 coupon to your card?

  38. Tatyana

Does anybody know where to get free ticket for Six Flags?
    Thank you

    • Rebe

In my area, when you donate blood, I havent found ANY other way to get free tickets. I am in Western Mass and the blood drives with free Six Flags tickets happen about 3 times during summer, good luck!

  39. Rachel

That Father’s Day basket looks amazing!

  40. Theresa Holtz

Can’t find the Manufacturer Q for the Snickers ice cream on Smart Source do I need a certain zip code?

  41. Sophie

Thanks for this deal! Did it with no problems, picked my order up in store and when I got home I ordered a gas smoker that was on sale with free shipping and applied the 50,000 points and also the surprise 10,000 points (didn’t apply those to first deal as I didn’t want to mess with $50 back in points).

  42. ali

I did three separate orders for us and for gifts for family, then used all of the earned points to buy the grill!

  43. MINA

please please any one tell me what to buy and which one is qualifying for this deal, badly need of this, but dont know what to get and which one is valid to get it in store, any items will be highly appreciated

    • Shea

I bought the 17 piece grill set, shish kabob set, 2x the grill fish holders & the over sized basket topper

  44. MINA

not able to decide what to buy and which items are qualified for this deal

  45. Ree

I got a different message for my surprise points…it says “50,000 points for any Sears tools purchase when you spend $.01.”

Did anybody else get this? I’m having trouble getting the points applied. And the weird thing is that it says it expires May 21. I’m hoping this isn’t a mistake! I really wanna use the points to get my husband something for father’s day!

  46. Melissa

I have no idea how to pay with my rewards?

  47. Turquoice

Drat! I was rushing to do this deal by midnight to use my surprise points that had to be used by today and forgot all about the $5 off $50. Now I’m wondering if it’s EST midnight (where I’m at) or PST… Oh, well.

    • Sara

My $5 off $50 was in store only. Might not work for you anyway.

  48. Joanna A.

Just to piggy back off the comment that Rite Aid has Sears Gift Cards with +up rewards this week! 🙂 I went to buy two $25 cards (as the limit is 2) and noticed a “Bonus Pack” with two $25 cards and a $5 bonus card. I decided to try it and see if it would work for the +up deal ($5 in +ups with each $25 card) and it did! So, I got $55 in Sears Gift Cards for $50 and got $10 in +up rewards at Rite Aid back! I will use the $55 on this grilling items deal and if you factor in the bonus card and +ups, it is like getting $15 in “free spending money!” I hope this helps someone!

    • Rei

Oh thanks for the tip….I’m tempted to do this and place a second order!

  49. Dayna

I was literally getting ready to go and buy our new grill when i saw this deal.. Instead I did multiple transactions saved up my points and then got my grill with my points.. PLUS I got back 7 percent on each transaction with shop athome!!! It was like getting $500.00 worth of grill accessories for FREE when I bought a grill that was on sale for $200.00 Thanks Colin and crew you helped pimp out our grill area for the summer.. LOL!

  50. VickiRae Lopez

After spending FOREVER on the phone with Sears trying to get my points we found that the Craftsman grilling stuff is considered a tool because of the brand being a tool brand. She went ahead and gave me my points anyways but just wanted to let you know.
