I signed my daughter up. (She will be in 7th grade in the fall.) She did the diagnostic a couple weeks ago and started the lessons last week. She seems to like it so far. I decided to sign her up because there was some stuff on her end of year testing she said she never learned. I am just trying to make sure any gaps are filled before she starts Algebra next year. Also, it was free! Have your kids try it. If it’s not for them then just have them stop. No money lost:)

My son will be a 7th grader too. He’s been doing 2 to 3 sets a week (recommended is 3). Last wk we were out of town, so I’m making him do the program all wk to “catch up”. He likes it. Some of the questions are fairly easy for him, others are harder and some things he hasn’t even learned or barely touched on. So this is a great refresher + being able to learn new concepts should help him out come the new school year.

And man, some of those questions even stump me!!

This program is great. My daughter is going into second grade and has been doing it the past couple weeks. I can tell this program will keep her on track for the summer and even improve her skills. I really have been impressed with it so far. So grateful to them for making it free this summer πŸ™‚

I signed my daughter up for this the last time you posted about it. She is entering the 2nd grade. She really likes the math because it tough enough to challenge her, yet not discouraging. Also, if she gets an answer wrong, the explanation is very thorough. Thanks again!

Thanks so much for this. My kids are entering 8th and 3rd grade. This is great way to stay on top of their math skills this summer. I let them complete then we will enjoy a Sonic Happy Hour break as a reward a few times. Yahoo…thanks

How ironic. Our daughter’s school district has been using this all year as enrichment. Just today we picked up her report card and, in it, was her sign-on and password so she can practice this summer. Nice to see they are offering this deal for those that may not have it through their school.

My daughter needs help in English. Anybody nows of a similar program like this one that she could benefit from?

I have been looking too. My daughter is behind on her reading/ comprehension. Any help would be appreciated. πŸ™‚

It’s a paid service but raz-kids.com is really great for reading/comprehension.

        • Gina

It looks like its targeted more towards teachers?

          • Stac

I thought they had an individual plan but I guess not..sorry! What we did was get a bunch of friends in on it and shared the cost and put everyone under one “classroom”. It was great cause siblings could use it and be on different levels, etc. You can at least let her try the free samples πŸ™‚

Thanks stac. Ill have to wait for school To start and see what the teacher thinks. Maybe i can work somthing out with her. I dont have much family and the next sibiling (3mth old) has a long way to go. Lol

          • Susan

No, raz-kids is for kids. My child’s school uses this, and we were given the username and password for our child at the beginning of the year by the school.

Thanks Collin, I’m going to have my daughter do this so she doesn’t backslide this summer!

We’ve been using it for weeks. My daughter loves it and asks to work on her math each day with it. She will be starting 1st grade in the fall.

I just signed my son up but am curious if anyone else can testify to how well it tailors the curriculum? My son will be entering 1st grade this fall but he loves math and is probably working at a 2nd or 3rd grade level already. Does anyone know how well this will tailor to him?

  12. nicole

My son has done 4 units and is going into 1st grade. His teacher said he loves complex math problems, but this seems to be above his level/frustrating. He does love watching the videos that are included- but it’s one video per 10 questions.

I signed my nephews up (with my sister’s permission). I like the ‘Reward’ features too. Thanks Hip2save!

The parents of the kids I tutor were so excited to hear this!
