I have to pay tax on Amazon, but found another place that has it for the same price and no tax for me (and still free shipping). They are just not as known as Amazon, so I am not sure how well I can trust them. Has anyone purchased from AllBrands.com before? I did check Walmart and it does say that $400+ is the original price, so Amazon might not be inflating this time.

Am I correct in saying this machine does not have the ability to monogram? My daughters really love the monogramed shirt look.
Yes you would need an embroidery machine for that

I just bought a different brother model on amazon for $85 with great reviews. Not as many features as this one but still good for a beginner
They also have the exact same machine on Overstock. If you sign up for their emails you receive a coupon for 10% off, I believe. And you can’t beat their customer service. I bought a machine from them years ago and within the first few months it broke. They sent me a refund no questions asked or problems. And I didn’t have to hassle with returning the machine. I will forever buy my sewing machines from them!

Junk….it died after less than a year…would have cost more to repair than original purchase price….wouldn’t recommend to anyone who sews a lot

This is a great machine, especially for beginners. All my daughters have one, and the fact you can control the speed is a huge bonus for my younger ones (under 10). We’ve purchased three of these from Amazon at this price in the past three years (for our girls, not b/c they broke!). So I’m not sure that this price ever goes up.
Costco gets good ones around Christmas and always have a coupon to go with it. Usually around $100.
