Hip2Save reader, Patty, uses a similar Organizer Cart (pictured above) to keep her coupons organized and contained. Check out the email that she sent me earlier this year:
Every night my husband goes to bed before I do, and I usually do my coupon stuff after. So I would have to grab all my containers, bags and baskets that I have my supplies in and bring them out EVERY night. This was becoming annoying! This cart is so perfect, everything I need is all in one place! I just roll it out to the living room and do my thing!
(Thanks, Freebies for a Cause!)
Thanks I’ve been trying to find a good price on one of these!
Thank you!! I’ve been debating on getting one of these for our son, Liam’s nursery!
Just an FYI for anyone considering the six drawer rolling cart – they don’t work well on carpeting.
I bought one similar to that a few years ago and the wheels aren’t happy unless it’s a smooth surface.
Anyone know where to get a cart like the one Patty, and I think Collin, has? Like it much better than the plastic. Thanking you very much in advance. 🙂

It costs quite a bit 😉
Pricey…..on Amazon12-drawer studio cart…hth
Ooooohh and target has a colorful one
I have that one. I missed out on the staples deal Collin posted about a while back (same style unit, but different name!). I used $60 in Amazon credit I had accumulated from Swagbucks, so I only paid $20 for it. I love it. I have my coupon inserts organized in each drawer, along with stationery items & other misc items that were crowding my computer desk. The bottom 2 drawers I use for storing printer paper. I was able to put my printer on top (I used a scrap piece of wood on top of the metal top b/c it is sorta thin) Its very useful and contains all my stuff.
Collin actually posted a deal on these exact carts about a yr ago when they were on clearance at Michael’s. I bought mine right after reading her post & there was a $5/$25 store coupon at that time too. Oop was around $20 but this was a yr ago at Michael’s.
I got mine from Staples.com a few months back when they were running a special and a coupon deal. I got 2-12 drawer ones and 2- 6 drawers ones for about $100. The drawers are black. While I love the metal, I hate the drawers-they are extremely thin, flimsy plastic. One of the drawers came busted up. I contacted the manufacturer though and their customer service is great! They promptly sent me a new drawer out, free of charge. Unfortunately, a (light) box fell into the front of one of carts recently and busted the majority of the drawers, so now I’m going to have to order more.
Anyway, I’m mixed about the quality of these carts. I would not recommend these at full price. 😕
my mom bought one like is pictured in the second picture at Sam’s for my daughter except it was only a single set of drawers (not a double column as pictured) and they would not stay aligned on the runners and kept falling down on the drawer beneath it — we ended up throwing it away 🙁
Thanks Collin, perfect use for the one i have sitting in basement from a garage sale last year….lol
This is something I might consider getting for my classroom!
I used these in my classroom and they were great.
Although I must say the original price definitely feels a bit inflated.
These are fabulous for the classroom. I have had 4 of these for my fourth graders supplies and they have lasted for years!!
I have the same one to store all of my makeup!
I have one like this that I bought from Target. It works okay for light weight items, but not for heavier items like craft papers. The framing pieces do not stay aligned and the drawers won’t close. I would not recommend this to anyone. I got a nice wood bedside dresser at a used shop that works well for me.
The Container Store has some great ones. A little pricey though, but in my opinion, the quality is excellent, and they are totally worth it. I follow a professional organizer named Alejandra Costello and she swears by the Elfa drawers. (Google her if interested – she has tons of great videos on organizing that are free on her website and on youtube). They are excellent and durable. We are going to use them in our pantry and home office. The plastic ones like this one are a nice option too. I just like the way the metal mesh ones look and the way the drawers glide smoothly.
Excited, just purchased two carts for my cake decorating supplies. Can’t wait to start organizing 🙂
