Yay! I was just thinking about A League Of Their Own! Love that movie! “There’s no crying in baseball!”, lol
I don’t know if you feel like I do but “Open Season” is not fit for children to watch. You may want to view it first.
I agree! My kids were watching this and we shut it off! Just a head’s up!
It’s disturbing today how many “kids” movies are really not appropriate…. I have issues with my 4,6, and 8 year old hearing characters telling each other to shut up or continually saying stupid/idiot/etc. All the hidden adult humor is ridiculous and the boy/girl relationship/kissing theme in almost every animated movie is getting old.
i just bought a league of their own on VHS for $.25 at a yard sale this past weekend. VCR’s can save you money, people. 🙂
Yes, they can! I’ve gotten tons of VHS tapes from Freecycle!
Open season? Really?! It’s a problem? Weird!
Yes when you are trying to raise children to maintain innocence
Make sure to go throughout the adult DVDs (more than one section – an end cap display and then throughout the regular DVDs) and then to the end cap children’s display (near the housewares department in our Target) to find all that is available. There were TONS to choose from for us. Mirror, Mirror; Barbie; special edition Breakfast Club; and Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. Decent deal IMO!
I just realized “adult DVDs” sounds a little creepy/weird. Sorry, but I didn’t know how else to describe it :)!
It does not sound creepy! What is wrong with people?!
I understood what she meant but usually adult videos represent something else, when you go by “certain stores” they will say “Adult videos sold here”
I thought I was the only one that found it inappropriate but glad to know there were more parents that did 🙂
Does anybody have the full list of DVDS that are buy 3 get 1 free?
My kids enjoy watching Open Season. We see nothing wrong with it.
We got Jumanji, The Little Rascals, Dennis the Menace and a veggie tales movie!!
