Can you buy as many bobby pin packs as you want as long as it’s am even number?

    • RA Cashier

      I would assume so.

  2. DC

I love that Vaseline Lip Therapy! I think the little tubs are so cute! 🙂

    • Jennifer

are these sticky at all? Do they last a while? I have been wanting to try them, maybe now is the time.

      • Nick

It’s literally just vaseline in an itty bitty jar lol.

        • Mellissa

LOL Nick … I noticed the same thing. I was like what’s all the hype looked at the back and it said ingredients … petroleum jelly … and that was it. So I walked away shaking my head …. didn’t fool me … but think of all the $$$ they make off these little jars of vaseline.

      • RA Cashier

No they’re not very sticky. The only thing i don’t like is that you have to be careful where you put it because i had one break in my backpack last year and it ruined my homework!:(

Could you use this coupon on the Cottonelle wipes?

    • mel

No, those are on sale. Even though the BOGO is a promo, the % is still applying to the 1st reg priced item.

I have a question and I would really appreciate if someone can help me in this matter. From last 2 days I am not able to use my register reward at wags. Their register is not accepting my $3 almay register rewards. All the employes are saying I have to buy an item that is priced $3 or more after any coupon. They have to put it manually. Yesterday I bought 3 boxes of cottenelle wipes and didn’t use any coupon but it was not taking a single $3 RR. I called at customer service and they are not helping at all. I want to use all my almay RR and I think after that I am done with walgreens and their policies.
Please anyone who had this trouble or have an idea why is it happening please reply.

    • Bobbie

Unfortunately it does seem like this is another new change in the policy. If you look at the RRs now, they say “Off Your Next In Store Purchase Over the Value of Coupon”. So the item you’re using it towards needs to be at least the same price as the RR. Makes using RRs pretty difficult, I don’t think I’ll be getting many of those $8-10 freebies anymore…

      • ariel

I thought its always been that way. If you have a $2.50 RR your item has to be at least $2.50 before tax and after coupons.

        • Bobbie

No, I believe it used to be “Off Your Next Shopping Order Over the Value of Coupon”, which meant only your total had to be at least the amount of your RR. This new verbiage makes it so an individual purchased item has to be. Like lovedeals was getting the Cottonelle wipes, 1.99 x 3, and no coupons so $5.97. $3 RR would have worked in the past, but now one of those wipe boxes would have to be at least $3 for it to work…

This is really bad news. I have always saved my points for Black Friday, and tried to plan my transactions. This is going to make it that much more complicated. This may be my last year doing this, just to spend the points I already have. Bleh.

    • Torri

I had trouble the other day using 2 rr’s. Both were for $1 each and my total was $7 for 2 items, but 1 item was only 50 cents. The manager explained they changed how their system rings up coupons. I think they used to just take off from the transaction total, but now it’s almost like it attaches to an item. You’ll need an item at least $3, not a transaction total unfortunately 🙁

      • Bobbie

Yes, I’d noticed in the past RRs attach themselves to items, and it’s like the new policy change “coupon value can’t exceed item price” (the one that used to be they’d adjust the coupon down) now applies to RRs too.

        • J.

I just use my RRs at another non-Walgreens store that accepts them.

          • Bobbie

Wish I could find a store that would!

          • Jess

            What stores accept them??

        • paula

Yes, they have changed their policy. Found out the hard way today. Tried to use my $3 RR from Almay deal on Cottonelle and even though my total was $3.98 before tax I could not use the $3 RR. The cashier said they changed it a couple of days ago. I even had 2 filler items but she said at least 1 of my filler items had to be $3 or more. Soooooooo, each RR has to attach to an item of equal or greater value not the total like before. I will not be shopping at Walgreens anymore after I figure out how to spend the RR I have. Just tooooooo confusing now with all the new changes and rules!

          • lovedeals

Thanks so much for all the replies and it looks like it is impossible to shop at walgreens now. I have at least 6 RR from almay deal and I don’t know how I am going to use them. Thanks once again everyone.

            • Daisy

Can you use register rewards to pay for milk? That’s what I’d do lbvs.

          • mel

I complained on their FB page last wk when I tried to use my $2.50 RR (that I earned on Sunday) for some of the $.39-$.99 school supplies & 2/$1 candy the next day. The RR is supposed to be off your next shopping order, not your next shopping order with a product of equal or more value, which is what the cashier told me, as to why the RR kept beeping. I read and reread the RR and nowhere did it say that. Eventually the manager came over and said he’d “put it through this one time only”! I am so tired of Walgreens and the head spinning to get a deal, it’s just not worth the aggravation!

            • paula

I just complained on their face book also which I normally do not do but this new policy is CRAP!

    • Brooke

AND…..another reason on the long list to avoid Walgreens!!

    • Mar

That’s absurd…considering this is directly from their coupon policy on the website:

      6. The number of manufacturer coupons, including Register Rewards®/Savings Rewards manufacturer coupons, shall not exceed the number of items in the transaction. The total value of the coupons shall not exceed the value of the transaction. Sales tax must be paid, if required by state law.

“The total value of the coupons shall not exceed the value of the TRANSACTION.” That means you should have definitely been able to use the RR. I would have definitely argued this point. And to add to the fact that the RR itself says “off your next instore PURCHASE over the value of the coupon. ” Purchase is the same as a transaction in this case.

Walgreens is exasperating to deal with now. I have been going less and less cause of how they handle their policy.

      • Ariel

I haven’t been using RR lately, I honestly have been shopping there less and less since they introduced balance rewards points because its makes it more confusing, and the deals have not been near as good. I used to shop there every Sunday, now its once every few months. This new policy is complete crap and I don’t think i will be shopping there much anymore either……

Can I buy four Vaseline in one transaction and get 4,000 points? Thanks in advance.

    • Ashley

yes, as long as you don’t pay with points, you will earn 4000 points.

  6. Ceecee32

Can I show the coupon on my phone or do I have to print it?

    • Ashley

yes you can use the app to show your coupon.

  7. kim

wow, I hate this new policy, thanks for the heads up. will use my last rr and be done with them. have a lot of points saved up, will use when I get to 40K and may be done with Wags

  8. ish

Where can i get the 20% off

  9. Misty

I bought Nature Made adult gummies. They were 8.99 each. Buy one get one. And bought .49 pens. Used 3.00 off Nature Made adult gummies and the 20% off coupon.
Payed 4.72 for all. And a 2.00 of Nature Made printed out

  10. Michele

I just did several Almay transactions today which after my $4 mq it would have been $1.99 and added a filler to make the whole transaction over $2.50 but it wouldn’t take my rr. So we are now going to have to buy something that is over $2.50 or right at the $2.50 price? Same with Almay rr that is $3.00?

    • lovedeals

Yes, they are making it tough for us. I think after finishing my almay RR I am pretty much done with walgreens.

  11. Julie

I had the same issue. It worked Monday but not Tuesday. I was told the same. The item must cost as much or more than the RR. I agree. I might be done with Walgreens as well! Even the manager told me he thought it was stupid.

  12. Damaris

  13. Jen

Cashier did not let me use the coupon on my phone and was a little rude about it too. I still got the Vaseline though, nice price!
