Does anyone know if Walgreens allows coupons on free items?

    • mel

No, they no longer accept coupons on free items. Coupon policy was updated a few months ago.

    • Carol_R

In this case yes, because you are purchasing an item to get the free item. They will not accept an internet printed coupon for a free item that requires no purchase.

      • mel

That is incorrect Carol_R. You can no longer use a coupon on an item made free by store sale. Per the updated coupon policy –

For offers when multiple items are purchased and additional items are free (buy 1 get 1 free; buy 2 get 1 free, etc.), the number of coupons applied to that offer cannot exceed the number of items required in the “buy” portion of the offer.

For those people that don’t shop at Walgreens, Walmart has the 30 pack for $13.47. I use the seven dollar off coupons that expired on the 18th and bought two boxes. So it was like buy one get one free!

  3. Viki

The free 10 count doesn’t count towards the 30$ for the BR points, right?

Vanessa, Is the $5 catalina really a target store coupon or a manufacturer coupon? If it really is a target coupon then yes your scenario would be a MM! Great find!
