I got one too for my hubby. He thinks that I think a BOB is a bad/stupid idea, boy will this prove him wrong. Hehehe. I even got black to match my truck.
do you know if this is waterproof or water resistant?
It doesn’t appear to be. From what I can tell this is a knock-off version of a Maxpedition bag — which doesn’t mean it is bad by any means! However, their bags are treated and heavy duty to resist water while the knock offs tend not to be, to save money. It isn’t a bad bag, I have both the name brand and several versions of it from various companies.
If it isn’t waterproof you could always treat it yourself to make it so.

I did my when I used to lived in California! Not worrying about Zombies!! But earthquakes!!! I had the basics; flashlight,batteries first aid kit, list with Fam. Phone numbers, copy of birth certificates, passport, and MRE’s, not I was not crazy believe me incase of an emergency you have no time to gather all these! We had several earthquakes and the last one was on 2010 close to the border of Mexico and that was scary a 7.2 magnitude!
