I’m not sure if you have ever posted about this before, but if you are a SYWR member at Kmart and have spent enough to become a VIP (it will say on your receipt if you are a VIP member or just a BONUS member), then they offer one VIP choice benefit every 90 days. The new 90 day period just began yesterday, and there are a limited number of rewards. The best ones are for VIP Platinum and Gold members, and are 100% back in points on big items, like lawn mowers and computers, but they are still offering a lot of freebies under the ALL VIP’s category.
You can choose 100% back in points on a Craftsman tool box, media player (mp3), slow cooker, blender, toaster, DVD player, headphones, lopper, rake, or bottle opener, and other things like free movie tickets, etc. Last quarter I got 100% back in points on a $50 mini trampoline and I love it! This isn’t a widely advertised program, so here is the link. It will say in the corner of each box if it is for platinum VIP’s, gold VIP’s, or all VIP’s (just scroll down until you get to the all VIP’s area). They also offer other points deals, etc, but the 100% back in points are always the best deals. I hope some other readers are also SYWR VIP’s and can take advantage of these great deals![/h2s_box]

I got an email saying I have 6.00 in points but I have no idea how to redeem them. They never come off in the cart. Any help??
Kelly, log into your SYW account and log into Sears or Kmart. When you add something to your cart, continue checkout, then you should see at top left how you want to pay for the order. If you want to use your points, you might have to put in your SYW# and your pin#. When I’m signed in to SYW, I don’t have to add my SYW# or my pin# anymore. So, if you don’t have enough in your account to cover your order, you then can add a GC# or a CC#. HTH!
My email says I have “$10 in suprise points.” But if you read the fine print it says “on your next purchase of $100 or more.” Just make sure you are reading the full email. But, like the previous poster said, it should come off automatically if you put in your account and pin.
I got an email about getting 100% back in points if you apply their coupon–up to $100! I am not a VIP member.

If you scroll down the email, you will find the details of points. For example some points are for shoes, home, clothing etc. and some also says you have to spend xxx amount and you you will get xx off. HTH
Last Season I was able to get a lawn mowers but this time I got a stock pot. The reward for the silver level were not a good as last season, but it is free no complains to that.
I downloaded the coupon for 100% back in points for a Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker. I also have a coupon for 100% points match back.

How do people spend enough to get to those levels I’ve been rolling shop your way points since last December and I will never come close to spending $1000 because I roll my points carefully and pay very little out of pocket.
I was wondering the same thing. I shop there all the time but I’m usually rolling my points. I am still a long way from getting out of bonus level.

I just became a VIP Silver member and I got 100% back on a DVD player, I just got it in the mail this morning! I got to silver status just by buying things I already needed through shopyourway. We are a young family and bought our home about two years ago, we had super old appliances so we have just gotten new ones as the old ones died on us. I have gotten a dishwasher, refrigerator and stove, as well as an entertainment center, a desk, end tables, a bed and a shampooer and vacuum through shopyourway. Not to mention a ton of kitchen supplies, household stuff and clothes for myself, husband and son.
I have shopped at Kmart for a few years with all of the great coupon deals, and it gave me credit for my PRE-COUPON totals last year, which equaled enough to reach VIP Silver level. Of course I didn’t spend that much out-of-pocket, but everything still counted toward my qualified spending. I have been a VIP member ever since…I don’t think you ever lose your status once you gain it. I hope others can take advantage of this as well….I’m just hoping I can get to gold status so I can start qualifying for 100% back in points for the big ticket items! I’m not complaining about my free trampoline and free MP3 player for being a vip silver member, though! 🙂

Wait I’m sorry its $2,500 omg sorry but that is so not worth it for me. I spent this much (Qualified spending $11.63 ($2,488.00 more to become VIP Silver) and I have got a ton of stuff this year from Sears/Kmart for free or less than $1.00.
I went to Kmart yesterday to take advantage of their double coupons. I also signed up for their rewards program. I bought 6 Pantene products and 2 Vidal Sassoon products and Wet and Wild Nail polish. The total was about $32. I ended up paying $6 and i got $10 back in points for making my first purchase of $30 or more as a new member. And I just bought 2 pairs of jeans for $3.99 and used points to pay for them. Sweet!!!!! 😉 Thank you Collin!
