My Best Buy Members: Possible $5-$5,000 Mystery Reward (Check Your Inbox)
Heads up all you My Best Buy members! Check your inbox for an email titled “Mystery Reward Inside: $5—$5000 in certificates” from the email address MyBestBuyInfo@emailinfo.bestbuy.com. If you received this email, click the Print My Reward button and then head to your local Best Buy store and have the cashier scan the offer at customer service or at the register – the value of the offer will then be revealed and will range from $5 to as much as $5,000! This reward will expire on 11/11/14 and is valid at any Best Buy store (not valid online).

Is there any way to tell which you received without going to the store?
No. It says in the fine print you must take it in and have them scan it. If it’s between 5-500 you can spend it immediately, if it’s 5000 you have to call a special number. And it’s not valid for online purchases.

I know. I’m dying to know what I got but if its only $5 not even worth the gas there.
If the first barcode ends in 370970, it’s $5. Hope this helps. 🙂

You can find out online… worked for me… do this:
1. Log out of bestbuy.com
2. Add an item to your cart
3. Checkout as guest (enter address so you can move to the next step)
4. On the next page, open the “My Best Buy Reward Certificates” dropdown
5. Enter your member ID and certificate number from the e-mail
6. Celebrate with your $5 reveal (hey, it’s better than $0!)
thanks for the heads up on how to check this without going to the store. After reading some comments elsewhere form people who shop a lot not getting one, I began to wonder if it was possible I won big time. I would hate to lose out on free presents! BUT, you saved me time and gas, checking out as a guest showed me mine was only worth $5.

Then I guess I got a $5 thanks. But is ok I have one location withing 2 miles and when I get something like this I usually buy 20 oz sodas.

I never print and always use my phone for these types of things. The barcodes scan perfectly well from my phone.

Make sure you price check it with Amazon, I bought my polar from there that way. 🙂

I don’t know if this will be an option but my family practically lives at Best Buy. If someone isn’t using their code they can send it to me at queen2b@ hotmail.com. I guess a forward or .jpeg of a screen capture might work. Thanks in advance.
I would send you mine but it has all my info on the print out page and whatever u buy will probably be credited to my acct and I will get the reward points 🙂 I believe mine is 5% according to others that referred to the last few digits.

I just got off the phone with Best Buy. The email was sent our randomly and there is nothing they can or will do if you did not get one. I’m an Elite member and didn’t get one.
I got $10!

So is this reward an automatic 5$ certificate?
$5 based on the last few digits in UPC . Great to use on batteries, candy, or clearance items. They also have a bun full of $5 DVDs!
