NOTE – Target will price match an item on many sites (including Amazon.com and Walmart.com!) – you’ll just need to show the price on your mobile device or bring in a printed page showing the current price. Before you head out, be sure to print the Price Matching Policy and keep it with you when shopping. And YES, you can use manufacturer’s coupons in addition to getting the price match. Will this be a better deal next week since they will have I believe a buy 2 get 1 free? :/

    • April

I think the buy 2 get 1 free next week is only for video games.

      • Lorraine

It’s for board games, video games and Barbie dolls.

Will this price matching really work…

    • Debbie

Yes!! I’ve done it. You have to go to customer service though I believe.

I know my target and a target about an hour away from me price matches amazon not sure about Walmart though usually just price match with amazon since they try to go by walmarts prices on certain items.

I think some of the games will be cheaper at Toys R Us. I tossed the ad, but I think it was $2.99 for the less expensive Hasbro games (Cootie games, Chutes and Ladders, Candyland, etc.). Could be wrong, though.

  4. Erica

I know Meijer has Chutes and Ladders and the Cootie games for $4 on Thanksgiving making them only $2 each.

    • Sue

I paid $4.77 for Cootie from Walmart today-where do u get $2.00 off?

  5. Shannon

I want to price match from somewhere by using a printed price. Without how many days from the day I printed it must i bring in the ad to price match? Or is it only valid the day I printed it on?

  6. Kristen

They don’t price match using a printed price. Has to be on Amazon.com, Walmart.com, bestbuy.com, toysrus.com, or in a current print ad. If it’s in a print ad you need to bring in the whole ad with the dates showing when it’s valid. I work at guest service at Target. Hope this helps!

  7. Jen

Heads up my Walmart Chutes and Ladders and candy land was on rollback in the store at 4.77

    • Princess

@Jen, mine too. I used the $2.00 off coupon and got them for $2.77 each.

I was at target the other day and they told me the store has been in town in order for me to price match. Since I don’t have a toy r us here I can’t use their ad.

I have tried to price match Amazon before and it didn’t work. I don’t have a smart phone so I printed the page from Amazon – a couple hours later, I went to Target and they pulled up the Amazon listing and the price had gone back up. So they said no deal. Anyone else have this problem?

  10. jen n

The pricing is coming up as the same price on target.com which they also match.

I was told that I could not price match at target with the board games and get the buy2get 1 deal. Does anyone know if this is true? I didn’t fight it and probably should have but they did include disney games (said they were ringing up as part go the deal).

@Maggie, I think it’s at each Target’s (manager) discretion. I was concerned that mine wouldn’t, but to my surprise I was told at guest services I could. I haven’t done it yet, but will later on today. I wish the policies were more cohesive in all the stores which would make shopping a little more easier. I know at my local Kmart they will not accept printed internet coupons, but 3 other KMART’s that I have visited which is about 45 minutes to 1 hour away will. The manager has the right to refuse it which kinda sucks but what can you do. Lucky for me thanks to all the awesome Kmart deals that Collin has posted recently I’ve had to venture out to those other KMART’s to do store pickup, and was able to double coupon with my printed ones.
