Amazon: Spiral Vegetable Slicer Only $22.99 – Today Only (+ Why I ♥ This Product!)
Yay! Amazon dropped the price on one of my favorite kitchen gadgets … So what is this gadget I’m talking about? It’s called a World Cuisine Spiral Vegetable Slicer – which you can currently snag for $22.99 – Today ONLY (Note- I have posted just a bit lower previously, but this is still a great price and I’m not sure that it will drop lower again). Plus, score FREE Super Saver Shipping on a $35+ order OR FREE 2-day shipping (no minimum!) with Amazon Prime.
I used this identical slicer to make the yummy Pesto w/Zucchini Noodles recipe shown in the photo above. I love that you can spiral cut anything from squash to zucchini, sweet potatoes to apples. This gadget rocks my world! 😀 The slicer comes with three sets of blades to make your noodles thin or thick. Plus, this gadget suctions to your counter and is so simple to use, even my kiddos can make their own zucchini noodles (of course, I have to help them just a little!).
(Thanks, Katrina!)
Love this!!! I got one back when Collin posted about it maybe a year ago. It’s awesome!!
Yay! Glad to hear it! 🙂
Great price for a great product! I also highly recommend.
Can somebody please tell me if this is worth trying to find room in my kitchen for? I have so many gadgets that are for one thing only. This looks really appealing to me but I’m worried it will become a twice a year gadget.
I love mine! I don’t use it weekly, but I’m glad to have it to make zucchini noodles and special slices of carrots and other veggies. It doesn’t take up much room, even when stored in its box.
Only you can answer that. If you don’t use it, it’s a waste but like Colin posted it’s an awesome product but it does require you to do the work.
It is so worth it! I use mine at least once a week. I never use real pasta anymore, but I still eat spaghetti all the time! There are so many other recipes as well, pad thai, cucumber salads, etc.
Well I ordered it, merry Christmas to me from my 10 month old since she helped me check out 🙂
I think it depends on how much you like the veggies that can be used with this. We don’t love zucchini, and in my experience that’s what this is best for. I’ve done sweet potatoes and sauteed them, but they completely fell apart. I’m sure they’d be great deep fried but I don’t deep fry. Most carrots are too small. It works well for long cucumbers with small seeds (i.e., English or seedless cukes), but I’m not sure it’s worth the space for cucumber spirals a few times a year. I have lots of apples right now, so I guess I’ll try making apple ribbons and dry them. For my purposes, this is very much a one-trick pony.
Does it peel apples & potatoes ? Or just slice everything into skinny shredded pieces?
It does not peel; it just shreds into spirals or ribbons.
This is great, thank you!
THx! My mother in law wants one for Christmas and we were eyeing this one! Great deal!!
I have the smaller hand held that I bought at CVS. I LOVE it..this would be better, because I’ve cut my hand on the smaller one. It allows you to be more versatile with eating vegetables. I bet kids would tend to eat more veggies too!! I absolutely recommend this!!
Does it core the apples as it spirals? My mom had a 25 yr old apple spiral slicer that broke and I was thinking of this for her
No. You are thinking of an actual Apple peeler. This is totally different
This has been on my wish list for months. I can’t wait!!
Thanks Collin, just ordered one for my daughter!
I have used three different versions of a spirolizer and this is by far the best one. I love it. I have to watch my carb and sugar intake due to diabetes and my girlfriend can’t have gluten. This is the perfect, and extremely healthy, way to remedy such issues. Also, you can use it with sweet potatoes and either make sweet potato noodles, or sauté them with cinnamon (and sugar if you’d like. It’s a great healthier dessert.
we have had this over a year and paid over $30 for it. it is probably one of the best kitchen gadgets i own. it literally takes less than a minute to cut a whole cucumber or squash. super easy! drizzle the cucumber slices with a bit of apple cider vinegar and let it sit in the fridge for a couple of hours, so yummy! my kids love using it, too! it has really helped making healthier eating easier. highly recommend this!!
Why is it coming up at $34.99? I wanted to order several, so it would have been free shipping. When my husband tried to order them, he got a message that the $22.99 was only for Amazon Prime members—-is that correct?
