FYI – all the reviews say they run NARROW. Great price but won’t work for my feet. 🙁
Does anyone think these would be good for hiking or are they more of a casual shoe? The description doesn’t say, so I’m just wondering all the great Hip2Savers opinions! 🙂
Our son and his wife are avid hikers and they wear sturdy hiking boots. These would not protect the feet well enough if you are going to an area where there may be snakes or rugged terrain.
All 3 reviews said the same, they were narrow. Great price but cannot chance it. Thanks though.

I ordered a half size up, hoping it will compensate for the narrowness. (Is that a word? lol) My mom wears 7.5 so I will just give them to her if they don’t fit me.
I worked for a podiatrist. Sizing up does not help with the width of the shoe. Your foot spreads when you put weight in it and many people that would come in with foot pain or bunion pain would have tried sizing up instead of adjusting the width of the shoe. It can actually make it worse since the shoe would be too loose in the heel and possibly rub on the heel area. Hope that helps!

Code wouldn’t work for me. Error message said there was a minimum purchase for that code but didn’t say how much.

I heard some orders from the $9 shoes the other day got cancelled.
My order of those shoes was cancelled, I got an email saying my CC wasn’t authorized. So I called them, and of course they were now out of stock, the CS rep was super nice and helpful and managed to find me another pair (maybe through an actual store?). She ran my CC over the phone, and their system kept kicking it back. Nothing wrong with my card, she just said there is something messing up in their system and the cards aren’t processing right, so orders were being cancelled. She eventually was able to push it through and my shoes be here next week – crossing fingers!
My order was cancelled also, but I only just found out today when I went into my account to order these shoes. They just cancelled the order without even the courtesy of an email… so I won’t hold my breath on this order.

Don’t hold your breath. I just called to find out why my order of the slides from Sat was cancelled. They said their site doesn’t really update as they are sold. Customer service was not nice and friendly. He pretty much said you can’t trust their website. nice.
Frustrating, isn’t it? My husband is currently on round #2 of chemo, shopping from home for Christmas had been a plus this year.
As I tried explaining this to customer service supervisor, she pretty much said ‘This happens during this time every year. Sorry.’
