I just purchased the North Face Apex Bionic jacket online for my husband last week. The $20 Cabela Bucks was included in my order when I received it. It must be redeemed by Dec. 31, 2014.
How do the ‘bucks’ work, do you have to spend a certain amt to use the $20?
They say, “You may apply this rebate toward a future order”. There is no mention of a minimum purchase requirement to use the bucks. I did have to spend $95 to get the bucks, but the jacket was on sale for $99, regularly $169–and I wanted to get that specific jacket for my hubby for Xmas!
I just ordered the mens, and was not prompted any information about receiving 20 cabelas bucks. I emailed to see what they say.
You do not get Cabela’s bucks unless the order is $95. I had ordered the jacket for $59. I called in to see where the $20 Cabela’s bucks were, and they told me I had to spend $95, so I canceled the order. Bummer!
I purchased pink osito. Final cost 50.89. Used text 10 off w/ store pickup. Customer rep said you cannot use both free shipping & text discount. Cables bucks do not apply on this particular jacket. Hope this helps!
Darn! Wish I would have known about the $10 off before I placed my order. I would have preferred that over free shipping since I live less than ten miles away from a cabelas :/ oh well
I ordered a vest for my husband last week and it said that it qualified for the $20 cabela bucks, but I did not receive it with my order. I called customer service and they said it had to be $95 or more.
Does this brand run big or small? Thanks!
Hi, Kayla. For the women’s, I have a small, but medium wouldn’t be huge on me. I think they run a tad on the small side compared to other brands.
They run true to size, with the sleeves being a little bit on the short side. I’m usually an XS-S and my brown north face osito is an XS with a little wiggle room. I have short arms so the sleeves aren’t a problem for me but if you have average-longer arms I’d suggest going a size up.
I have ordered twice from them and both times the orders were cancelled.
I did the deal last week and thought I would get the Cabela’s bucks – it didn’t come with the jacket (paid $49) called customer service and they told me I had to spend $95, but that they would send me a gift certificate as a one-time courtesy. I was happy with that – haven’t gotten the gc yet, but am hopeful 🙂
I have always been very happy with Cabela’s customer service. I just got an order cancellation from Patagonia- 3 days after I placed the order. Now of course the coupon code I used is not valid and all they offered me was “free shipping” for my trouble- which everyone already gets. I will stick with Cabela’s in the future.
