Target policy states that you can’t price match if you are using a Cartwheel…Its either one or the other…
“Target and Cartwheel coupons: Target and Cartwheel coupons will be applied before the price match is made. If the competitor price is still lower than the price after the Target and Cartwheel coupon has been deducted, the ad match can be adjusted to match the competitor’s price.”
Oops! That’s correct – just removed that part from the post. However, it should be that price in-store anyways (so you shouldn’t have to price match). 🙂
Some stores enforce this some don’t. I had no problems today PMing the Baby Alive Brushy Brushy doll to Amazon for $17.99 then used the 40% CW paid $10.59! Regularly $24.99
Will Maleficent be cheaper black friday at other stores?
I tried to buy it and there weren’t any on the shelves. I asked and they said there were some in the back but they were holding them until tomorrow. 🙁
I had the same issue with the Fast & Furious set of DVDs. I was going to try calling customer service online tonight (when the kiddos go to bed) and see if they would match it online.
It was 15.00 in store and with cartwheel 7.50 🙂

Just watched Maleficent last night. Loved it!
Got this at 8am this morning. There were 3 on the shelf. I took the first one and there was a lady right behind me who grabbed the other two. Great deal!
Great deal but sucks that each store only put out like 4 for the entire world to fight over. I appreciate the great deals but dislike the lack of planning by the stores – I don’t think it’s fair they only offer like 4 of a title but give the cartwheel deal to everyone. If Target knows they are only going to sell 4 for that day with the cartwheel discount then they shouldn’t offer the cartwheel discount to millions of people. I only got 1 of the great dvd movie cartwheel offers due to there not being enough to sell that day or even in store, or that the employees weren’t holding to purchase themselves.
I love deals but stores are getting out of control with opening times and lack of sale merchandise. Just because you don’t have the thing I want does not mean I am going to buy something else in its place. I shop for the sale items and if you don’t have it I’m not buying anything else in its place.
Just watched this for the first time. Loved it. I heard Best Buy will have the Blu Ray combo for $9.96. Is that true?
According to the sneak peeks, Best Buy will have the Blu Ray combo for $9.99 and Wal-mart will have the DVD for $7.96. 🙂
My target couldn’t even find the $15 copy, do they just gave the the Blu-ray for 7.50! 🙂

Unfortunately, the stores in my area are sold out. The site still shows they have them , but the employee at Target says the site only updates once a day, so don’t depend on the site to give you correct information.
I had the same issue with the Little People Klip Klop stable…showed in stock, but not. Frustrating.
I got it for 7.50 at my store this morning. Also used the Cartwheel deal and got 60% off Monster High Freaky Fusion movie. They had also put up a few of the Black Friday sales stickers early in error but honored the 10 dollar How to Train Your Dragon 2 sign. 10% off with Cartwheel and I got it for 9.00.
Can you use the cartwheel offer online?
Heard lots of stores are holding them back for BF. With that kind of playing around I think I will skip Target this Black Friday. If you’re not going to stock it, don’t advertise it. I had a list of about a dozen regular things to buy today…..I was so disgusted I left my cart & walked out. I’ll pick this one up at Sam’s Club on BF.
I just saw this so I ran to target and totally lucked out! They were putting all the Black Friday items out so there was plenty of all the DVD deals I wanted. Thank you so much for the heads up!! I also saw a lady with a bunch of the cartwheel deal movies I her hand so I asked and she hadn’t heard of cartwheel. I showed her how to download and use it and she was saving over 50% on just what was already in her hand. 🙂
It would be nice if they’d stock a decent amount of items for these deals. It’s so frustrating! By the time I get off work, everything is always sold out. Wish these stores would realize not everyone stays home.
Had the same issue with the Barbie and the Pearl Princess cartwheel offer today. They had none on the shelves but they said after searching for it in store that they had 18. Another employee said they were being held for Black Friday and I politely said I’m not leaving until I get one. Your store has it advertised on cartwheel and there is no reason to force me to buy it on Black Friday for a higher price after the cartwheel offer expires. They got a manager who told them to go get one for me. Sometimes some polite pushiness gets you the goods.
