Yes, I couldn’t get the site to work either and a search for a fitbit on their site turns up nothing, 🙁 Darn I was hoping to get my mom one for Christmas. Anyone know of any other stores that are having a sale on fitbit flex?
Gone now so I guess they won’t be honoring any sales since they pulled ALL fitbits off the site..sad face.

I got a notice saying backordered, not cancelled. Called customer service and they say now there was a mistake in the price, do not know if they will honor orders.
Think it’s expired, couldn’t find it on the site under fitbit or activity tracker
They just told me that the price listed was an error which is why it was pulled from the website.
I called Customer Service and since they are back ordered they removed them. She said the Flex was the correct price, the One was not.

I had a Force and it burned my arm as it did thousands of others. Not sure If feel safe trying another of their products as they aren’t forthcoming of the cause of the burning. :/

Gnc canceled ALL my orders….says “out of stock”…I don’t believe it…I got them within minutes of the deal being posted….I think they realized the price was wrong! Bummer!
Did you order the Flex and the One? I should have known GNC would not have a decent sale on such hot products they aren’t known fo having good sales I thought it was legit cause people had been complaining about their black friday sale.

I ordered one thru shoprunner and two thru the gnc website. My shoprunner one was canceled and that was the last order I placed. The other two haven’t been canceled yet.
First time I call GNC they said we don’t carry it, second time I called they said we are sorry we are out, third time called they said it was an error and most likely all orders will be cancelled. I went to store they don’t carry it in store and found out some people called from other stores for price match.
I ordered the one and just checked my gnc account it says item is awaiting inventory, they have NOT cancelled my order. Yet 🙂

I went to Walmart as soon as I seen it and they price matched it doe me. This is the 1st time I have ever price matched and happy I did.
I ordered the one through GNC, was already charged and got an email saying ” Thank you for shopping at gnc.com. Your order included back ordered items that are unavailable for immediate shipment. Once the product becomes available, you will receive a new order confirmation email.” so I hope it will work and not be cancelled.
I just received a second email from GNC (in addition to the one this morning which noted that the items ordered were on back-order). This one said, “Thank you for shopping at gnc.com. Your order has been received. You will soon receive additional emails regarding the status of your order.”
So far, it is looking good. My order has not been canceled. They have had all day to do it if they had intended to do so. Unless they do it on Monday when the big boss comes into work and finds out that maybe they made a mistake on pricing the fitbits so low.
I got the same e-mail right after I ordered it this morning around 10AM. I then tried to price match it at Wal-Mart and was told that they don’t price match GNC. However the guy said he really wished he could have because he has been looking for a deal on one too. Seeing as how it was the last one in stock I bet I know what he did on break. Then tried Target. By the time they got to me the fitbit was unsearchable on GNC. Sidenote they are having an “early cyber Monday sale” with 40 percent off sitewide but Fitbit is still unsearchable. Seeing as how I’ve seen varios people posting that they ordered 20 I’m thinking they are all going to get canceled.
If people ordered 20 that is ridiculous and I hope they only cancel their orders not everyone who only bought one to actually use.
I agree with you April. I really wanted one and I would totally use it. I got mad seeing people post that they ordered some specifically to flip for a profit on e-bay. The only plus to having all the orders canceled is at least those jerks wouldn’t be able to take advantage of both GNC if it was in fact a pricing error, and other people. May they all get coal in their stockings for Christmas.

I spoke with customer service this morning and was told all reasonable orders would be honored. I ordered 2. She said they would not be honoring the mass orders that some people were making (20-100!). Fingers crossed!
That’s good news! You can be sure that those people ordering massive amounts did so for resale purposes on ebay, etc. Just like some of the extreme couponers.
I hope they were right! I ordered one for my Mom. She would love it for Christmas and it would normally be way out of budget so I am hoping hard that they ship them! Honestly I figured it was an old model not a price mistake.

Why should everyone get punished because some ordered 20 or more to resale. I would hope they would only cancel people who were abusing the system and not everyone and maybe those people would stop what they are doing. If you bought 20 sorry if you are offended.

Ummm…I think what you are saying is EXACTLY what the poster you are referring to is saying. Why should you (or anyone else who was able to snag a great deal) be “punished” by having your order canceled due to the other people who bought an exorbitant quantity of the item? they cancelled mine and I ordered only one. I even confirmed it two days ago and they said they would send it. but got the email today saying it was cancelled.
I got it too. I didn’t place my order online. I called to verify the price first then placed my order wity a customer service rep. They need to honor it. If I had bought it in the store and walked out with it they wouldn’t make me bring it back. Seems if their customer rep sold it to me personally at that price then they should honor it. Boo!

I called to verify…I wanted to know if the Flex was mispriced as well. I can understand the One being questionable as it was only $9.99. The Flex at $39.99 seems a bit more realistic in terms of price. Representative told me he knew nothing about an issue with incorrect pricing and didn’t show my order as pending cancellation and still shows “backordered”. It’s questionable that the rep knew nothing about this as I can imagine they expected several calls about this situation. Needless to say, the phone call ended with the rep not being able to tell me if or when I would be getting my item OR my money back!
Received an email cancelling my order which I placed with a GNC representative. I will never shop at this store again! Most stores honor their prices even when there is an error. Bad business, will post my opinion on twitter too!

I guess I should have assumed this would happen. I thought I had some great Christmas presents. The order was verified, but that doesn’t seem to matter. This fell into the “too good to be true” category!
Mine was canceled as well. I am not surprised because I wondered from the beginning if the prices were posted in error. But I was expecting it to be canceled the day of the order or the next day. But 6 days later??? Makes me wonder if they got a really good deal on them only to discover they we’re knock-offs. Remember the fake Clarisonics that we’re being sold a couple years ago on that groupon type site?
I contacted customer service. Their policy claims that they will respond in a timely manner. I figure that they will busy with all of us for a while! I know that they won’t change their minds, but after verifying the price before ordering I am very frustrated to lose these as they were going to be gifts.

Not cool of Gnc at all. They could have at least honored one per person to preserve good will and good name. I called to confirm twice and they confirm it was to be shipped in a week or so. by the way, they are “out of stock” for now, but will be getting new shipment in around 30 days. They won’t honor their sales once shipment comes in…now they keep spamming me! I doubt I will ever spend $ at Gnc again. Not cool.

I have heard through friends who work in retail that unless a price adjustment was posted before you ordered and were charged that The retailer has to honor the price by las Does anyone have experience with this?
