I bought these for black Friday. I have shapely calves, not thick but shapely. I’ve NEVER had a problem with boot shafts. I can barely zip up the calves. I mean, it is SKIN tight on me. Because they are online only, you have to return your order and re-purchase online if they don’t fit. I had such a hassle trying to do this in store the other day. Be warned, these are meant for thinner calves

Sorry for the confusion Melissa. You can definitely return them in store but exchanges are not possible when a particular set of shoes/boots is only sold online. If that’s the case, you must return your purchase in store, and then re-order online. Shipping took so long for me that by the time I went to Kohl’s to return and re-order, the cognac boots in my size were gone 🙁
Anyone know about boot stretching? My only concern about boot stretching is that these are zippered and I don’t want the zipper to pop. Suggestions please? Oh and these are man-made leather.
I would find a cobbler (shoe repair) in your area and ask them if stretching your boots is a possibility.

I really wanted these boots, but I went to the store to try them on first. Good thing, because I wouldn’t have bought them. Here’s why: the zipper is really cheap. Feels like it’s going to break when you pull on it. But the biggest issue I had with them is their odd shape. I have “average” whatever that means calves lol! When you put these in there is a bulge that sticks out towards your mid to upper calve. They put this bunch of extra material there that isn’t uniform to anyone’s calve. It looked bizarre. Might work for some, but not for me. I read reviews on it and it seemed others had these same issues.
