   I just ordered one. We drink entirely too much soda at our house, mostly because I like carbonated beverages. I love the idea of being able to carbonate healthier options. 🙂

  Yes. They sell sugar free sodas and crystal light type . Or just regular water carbonated with lemon, orange ect.

   Definitely! We have never used the syrup they sell from soda stream. We buy the sugar free water enhancers and they are great.

  @ Autumn: Even if they really are going to be discontinued (most things are at some point), how will it be useless? This model can accommodate both the 60L and the 130L cylinders, and all the machines use the same carbonating bottles. I don’t understand how it would be an issue?

    Just because the machine is discontinued doesn’t mean it’s useless….you can still buy CO2 tanks and syrup…..

    I am considering getting one of these for a Christmas gift. Is this the latest and greatest one on the market or is this an older model? I don’t know what the newer editions have vs the ones from last year.
