They apply the $5 first BUT the cartwheel SHOULD take 40% off of the FULL price…. this is usually the case when its a threshhold target coupon versus off of one specific item.
i know this isn’t as good of a deal but for those of us like myself whose target is 40 minutes away, the gas saved will make up the difference. Online you can you the promo code JOY30 to get 30% off select clothing and shoes. I looked at the toddler shoes and it doesn’t include all of them but there was a good selection of boots
Has anyone had success with returning an item and repurchasing using a Cartwheel offer? I bought two pairs of boots last week that were $40 each. Sizes were very limited so I scooped them up even though they weren’t on sale last week. I would love to score the 40% off!
Call your store. I think you have so many days to get a price adjustment or you might be able to return and repurchase.
Was just in yesterday & they did a price adjustment for a cartwheel offer for me on athletic shoes, very easy. HTH, each store might be different though. Good luck!
I bought something on Saturday and it had a Cartwheel offer for 1/2 off on Monday, so I went to customer service and the lady working there told me they don’t do a Cartwheel price adjustment after you purchase something, but that I would have to return the item and go find another one and rebuy it with Cartwheel. So I guess it just depends on the store.
You think I can split up the orders? I need 4 pairs of boots. I know Cartwheel has a limit of 4 – but can I do two pairs in two different transactions?

Target actually was really nice and let me do a one time cartwheel over the phone with customer service, of course it was when they had a 50% off toy that on the website said available in store but was not. Still though it was nice and I love Target😀

Just got back from Target…$40 boots for $20.99!! Woohoo. They also had a really cute pair on clearance for $24.99, even better deal!…but they didnt have my size in those…boo.
So target also had 20% off all their character shoes for kids including hello kitty and Minnie Mouse boots so I scored an awesome deal on minnie boots for my daughter! Thanks for posting this I would not have realized there was a coupon too!

At my Target the cartwheel came off before the coupon. I was able to get $40 boots for $18!
