Hi Collin! Today I called my Target and asked if the Christmas clearance was still 50% and they said yes, it would be that way until the weekend. I went to the store anyway and everything is marked 50% still, but when you price scan it everything comes up at 70% off! I got wrapping paper for 75 cents, boxes of lights for $1.49 and a giant light up snow flake for $10. Please let your readers know to use the price scanner! The store seems to be keeping the discount as a secret this year for some reason.

Trumbull, CT Target was already at at 70% off yesterday, got some great deals on GE Led light sets!
I found select items at 70% off this morning. I had to scan as nothing was marked. Most food was still at 50%. I found eos 3 packs (they were in a small round box that is a gold color on the top and a pink/coral color on the bottom with a clear top- there is an orange, a red and pink/coral color eos in the box) for $2.40 and spinbrushes for $1.49.

went today and got three eos lip balm in a pack for 2.39 !!!!! I live in LA. Items are 70% off and food is 50% off.
50% off at Target in Glendale Galleria today. It was heavily picked on, though. It wasn’t like a few years back where at 75% off, you’d still find lots of really good items. For the last 2 years, people didn’t wait anymore, and bought stuff at 50% off. I guess that’s an indication that our economy is getting better?

Western MA was 70% today, Hadley and Holyoke. Pretty slim pickings at both. Heard a few places by Boston went 70% on Monday
I refuse to go out with my kids when its under 20* and by the time hubby gets home from work and I drive all they way accross town its closing time for our target. I haven’t been to target in four months 🙁 I think I’m having withdrawals.

just went today… slim pickings but got 5 rolls of wrapping paper, 2 bags of bows, 6 gift bags and 2 box sets (shirt boxes), 6 packages of 50+ gift tags (per package), 100ct ornament hooks plus a bag of candy for my sweet tooth for $14. Would of been $45 prior to 70% discount!
50% food/decor in Louisville, KY. Perfume/gifts sets are 15-30%. Good thing I was able to go after you posted because it was in the process of being cleared out. My favorite score was three boxes of cascading icicle lights. I’ve always wanted to decorate my house with them, but they are so expensive! Now I get to next year 😊

I wonder when Target will go to 90% off Christmas stuff this year? I scored some sweet deals last year! A little tip I learned: check the shopping carts around the return area- there are often great Christmas items that got returned & are on clearance

Mines 50 and everything is gone!
They were 70% off at my closest store, but things were very picked over. What little ornaments were left hanging on the wall were broken. There was some wrapping paper but people had opened some of it! There were a few stockings and etc but not 4 of anything that I would need for my family. I was disappointed as I have always loved going to the target after Christmas sale, but this year it looked like vultures had picked through it.
I had a similar experience at my store. It seems target has figured out their Christmas inventory surplus & so there’s less for us deal hunters!
Germantown, MD had stuff for 70% off. The Christmas section was really picked over. However, I found some unmarked items. 70% of puffs and glad Tupperware. They weren’t marked nor were they in the holiday section. They were in the regular aisle. I got 6 double packs of puffs and there were about 15 left.
Can you describe the packaging on those items?

The Puffs 2pk that I found had tall trees on them in grew/white. One box has a blue owl and the other box with a red bird. They looked more ‘wintery’ themed than Christmas. I also found them on the regular aisle. But I bought on Sat when it was 50%, I didn’t think they’d be anymore left at 70%. Sure enough, when I went a little while ago, the entire area was empty.

Am I able to use coupons on clearance items? I tried to buy 3 Glad products and used one Target coupon and 3 MQ. The MQ wouldn’t go through and the cashier as well as customer service said it was because the items were on clearance. Target does not accept coupons on clearance items. I looked at them like, “WHAT? Since when?” Customer service just shrugged. Anyone run into this problem?!
In addition to the “coupons do not work on clearance items” I then said, “Why did YOUR Target coupon work on it then?” I had to show them on the receipt and they were kind of in shock too. In the end, I did return all 3 products.
I had trouble with the up up 75 cents coupon..they told me they didnt accept copies of coupons whatever that means..I think they just didnt know haha
I had no problems using coupons at Target on my clearance items today (Oreos, M & Ms) and the other day Puffs. But my store is still only 50/50. So maybe because your items were 70% off? I have run into coupons not being accepted though before on non-holiday items like Covergirl nail polish. And that coupon was from newspaper insert. Maybe coupons won’t work if the coupon value is more than clearance price. I don’t know … just a theory.
That is total misinformation from the store. It is NOT true. Even if the item value is less than the coupon value, they are supposed to adjust the price of the coupon down to make the item free (or the overage can apply to other items in your purchase). The clearance percent does not matter. As long as you meet the requirements of the coupon, it should work.
Plano TX 70% off wrapping paper, ornaments… Was crammed in 2 short aisles. The shaving, lotion and perfume gift sets were only 15% off. I bought 2 packs of gift tags. Target Starbucks cafe was wiped out of mugs, but my Krogers has tons for 50% off.
Cleveland, OH Target is 70% off. They had more left than the other locations, but things were going fast while I was there. I managed to get a couple rolls of wrapping paper, some gift bags, tissue, candy, etc. We also got the girl elf on the shelf for $8.98. Check the paper products area for a 2-pack of Puffs tissues (the have owls on the box). They rang up for $.89 and I had a $.25 coupon! Can’t beat 32 cents a box!

Holiday stuff still only 50% in Rock Hill, SC and already very much picked over but the Starbucks had the Christmas blend at 70% so I was able to score 3 bags for $7. My hubby’s birthday is Friday and he drinks the equivalent of 1-2 lbs of coffee a week so this was perfect!
Still at 50% off in Anderson, SC last night. 🙁 did score some good prices on bags of M&M’s tho 🙁

The target in Plymouth MN is at 70% off (food is still only 50% off). All of the popular items were long gone at 50% – the glade containers, ziploc bags, tissues, diapers, etc – but there was still a lot of decorations. I scored a few items and pjs for my son for next year. I was most excited though about the storage items I found at 70% off in the baby section.

My store in Ohio was 70% off today. I didn’t make it there until this evening and they still had a ton of stuff left! I got several packages of LED lights (so we can decorate outside next year), lots of stocking stuffer toys (which will be great for the Easter basket), polar express book and DVD, star wars ornaments, etc. I love Target clearance!

My las Vegas store was still only 50%! I price checked everything. So bummed since i found a few things i wanted. Dollar spot items were 70% off. I was able to score a thermal polka dot top for my daughter for $1.50! And jeggings on sale + the 15% cw worked too! Awesome 🙂
