[h2s_box] Since beginning its National Pancake Day celebration in 2006, IHOP restaurants have raised almost $16 million to support charities in the communities in which they operate. On March 3, 2015, guests from around the country will celebrate a “Decade of Giving” with the tenth annual National Pancake Day at IHOP restaurants and enjoy a free short stack of Buttermilk pancakes. In return for the free pancakes, guests will be asked to consider leaving a donation for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals or other designated local charities.[/h2s_box]

how many pancakes in a stack? do u just order pancakes and a drink? what do u tip? i never went before….
You just ask for the free pancakes. You pay for anything else you order such as drinks. They usually have someone there representing the Shriners Hospital and you can donate extra and tip as usual.
Tip should be based off of your meal’s usual cost.
Do they really give u free pancakes, like u can get up😒 than leave after u finished eating yuh pancakes

You’re supposed to donate to the Children’s Miracle Network instead of paying for the pancakes. And tip on the original total. Going in, eating free pancakes, and leaving without tipping would make you a terrible human being.

Call your locations before you go – some may allow TO-GO orders since the lines are usually crazy long during these promotions. I have 3 stores within driving (20 miles) and 2 of the 3 stores allow TO-GO for the free short-stack buttermilk pancakes. I didn’t know this the first time.
