    Just bought from Gymboree for first time and their clothes run huge! Even though he falls within the sizing chart for 4T, My 4yr old is swimming in the 4T clothes. The shorts completely won’t even sit on his waist. Just fell to his knees. I’m hoping it will shrink a bit in the wash like Carter’s??

  Agree. My little one never had a chance to wear the cutest “friends” set of jeans and top size 2T because it was too large, and then she grew out of them real fast. 🙁
  BUT! I got her carpi jeans from “lemon” line last summer, they had an adjustable waist inside. Worked just great for us. So, pay attention on that in the item description. I now always get her pants with adjustable waist.
