Most of the time the post office will put mail into your p.o. box even if you use your street address.

    • Cristine

Weird, I used my Po box and it said it went through.

  11. Amy

Thanks so much! I plant wildflowers around my raised garden to attract bees to pollinate my veggies.

    • nicolegammeter

      You’re welcome, Amy! πŸ™‚

Try to plant seeds and plants that have not been treated with neonicotinoids, if you want to help the pollinators! Unfortunately I think the big box stores don’t know if their plants have been treated (and most probably have) but local greenhouses should know, especially if they grow their own. Good luck Lauri, with your beekeeping. I started 6 years ago…

    • terri

These seeds are most likely all neonicotinoids since they are being offered by Bayer company.

    • Sarah

Coming from the ag industry it absolutely does not make sense to treat these seeds. They will not be treated.

  13. Angela

These seeds will only kill more bees πŸ™

Please do NOT get them, if you already have please do NOT plant them.

    • Brittany

What makes you say that-just curious…

    • Brittnee

      Huh?

    • Cassandane

Cite your source for such a claim, please.

    • Margarita

      Government conspiracy????

      • Tiffany

Well, it is interesting that one of the companies that may be at fault for Colony Collapse Disorder is giving out free wildflower seeds. If the seeds came from plants that were treated with their products, I’m wondering how good these will be for the bees… Hopefully, since they are “wildflowers”, they weren’t treated with their product–which I’ve read can stay in the plant for 2-3 years. Don’t mean to be a downer–I’m usually all about the feebies. Just recently started learning about bees & thinking of becoming a beekeeper. πŸ™‚

        • terri

Tiffany, there is no ‘if’, they are definitely treated as the chemical is their product. It’s not being a downer, it’s being informed and mindful about what you do, that’s so important to spread information. I wonder how many people would so easily jump on a free product labeled “KILL a Bee Wildflower Project”. It’s very disturbing. Just as disturbing as Monsant GMO company wanting to ‘have a discussion’ about food in every magazine I read……the irony and sneaky tactics.

        • J

I just emailed them to see if they would respond. Regarding if these seeds are sprayed with anything and if they are genetically modified… Hmm. Let’s see if they’ll be honest.. Or even respond.

    • terri

Angela is right…they’re manufactured by Bayer..the drug company that has for years been in a ‘private’ (not government, Margarita) conspiracy with other big drug companies and chemical companies (i.e., Monsanto) who are already killing bees and butterflies with their pesticides in the Midwest. It’s a program being dangled by the actual bee killer. Nice.

    • dawn

thank you for posting this~ I just said the same on comment 23. this could be really BAD.

  15. Malia

    Thanks!

    • nicolegammeter

      YW! πŸ™‚

  16. terri

These are 100% GMO seeds, the same seeds that have decimated the bee population in this country. The same seeds that are illegal to sell in many European countries. The company is giving them away to spread more bee death. Please research this company and it’s seeds and the controversy.

    • Angela

Thank you for stating all the pertinent information Terri! I wish I would have had more time when I initially made my comment.

      • Sarah

These are not GMOs seeds. There is a lot of research and regulation in this industry.

  17. Jackie

    got my seeds! Thanks

    • nicolegammeter

      YW! πŸ™‚

  18. Audra

I’m torn…. I am afraid of bees but I like flowers…. but if what some people say above is true (that these will actually kill bills) then I don’t want to do that either…. So I like the idea of flowers but I don’t want to kill or attract bees….

  19. Vicki

When our kids were little we had a huge 1/2 acre side yard, and every spring the wild flowers would bloom and the yard would be full of bees. The kids had to be careful going out for a few weeks, but the flowers were so beautiful it was worth it! I am excited to get these seeds and bring back some memories!

  20. Eunice

    will it grow in AZ?

  21. melannnie

Thank you Collin!!!! I got some for my mom and sister too!!! It did say 2 packs per household, I tried signing my husband up but it won’t allow me to oh well, Still looking forward the seeds I am getting πŸ™‚

  22. Cristine

Thanks so much!! I love wildflowers and have lots of land to spread them on!! Can’t wait to get mine😊🐝🐝🌺

  23. dawn

WARNING… Bayer and MONSANTO work together. these seeds may NOT help bees after all…..do your research! watch out for GMO seeds. Knowledge is POWER.

    • Frannie

If only there were a way to tag your warning on all who submitted for their “free” sample… You may not be paying for that pack of seeds, but trust me.. It’s costing all of us. Please take the time to research GMOs or better yet watch the documentary “OMG GMO”.

      • Sarah

Please take the time to actually research GMOs and not just watch a documentary. This is a great technology with great promise.

  24. Joe

You all who think these are gmo seeds need to get a clue. No company is going to spend the tens or hundreds of millions of dollars it takes in research and development to genetically modify wildflower seeds! There’s no profit in this.

Now it is possible (but improbable) that they are coated with a neonic.

  25. DrBee

“Now it is possible (but improbable) that they are coated with a neonic.’
These are from BAYER ! This company is not bee friendly, they are a chemical company that is covering it’s butt!
They produce chemicals to put into the hive. No amount of forage will cleanout and save the bees from that .Do not fall for it.

  26. Janet Evans

I take pictures of bees. I would love to share some. Janet
