Anyone know what the price point is?
I have used Royal. And I like it. I recently bought a gallon of semi gloss for about 30.00
Please remember that if you are married you need a note from your spouse stating that they agree to the color choice! 🙂
Lol, we are in the current debate about our new master bedroom. Why do they argue with us! And then we compromise and end up with something neither one of us likes – at least that’s what happened when we painted the exterior of our house a couple years ago…
I think home improvement stores would be a great place for marriage & family therapists to market themselves 🙂
Oh my gosh…..just had a flashback to my husband buying and installing cream carpeting in our family room without a permission slip. Two kids, two pets, high traffic family room. Even my mother in law yelled at him.
Lol. This made me smile 🙂
This may be a silly question, do you think we can use the $5 off any gallon coupon on top of this BOGO deal?
the coupon that came with the samples from the 31 Days of Color promo
The 99Cents sample cans…is it 4 per visit or 4 per account holder?
4 unique colors per visit
I got 4 cans last week and went back in yesterday with my mom to get her four and the lady let me get more! super excited…I have already done some diy projects with my new paint!
Each ACE is independently owned and at their discretion can accept or not accept coupons. You would have to check with your local ACE to see what they are allowing (ie if they are sticking to the limit or will allow more). Clark & Kensington was top rated in 2013. Prices start around 26.99. Great deal!
hi Kathy, I saw that they indicate it (Clark and Kensington) as being nationally rated. do you know by whom? or better yet, do you have a link to the article so we can look up which type of paint (flat, semi, interior/exterior, etc). thanks
I just purchased my first house in December so I have recently done some painting. I used this paint and wasn’t as happy with it as the Behr paint from Home Depot. I had to go over a dark purple wall with a light green and the Behr Marquee paint covered it in one coat. That stuff was pricey but amazing! I had painted the walls in my bathroom dark gray and wanted to paint a yellow stripe over it. I ran to Ace and got a small can of this paint and it took 3-4 coats. I know I should have primed it first but I feel had I gotten the Behr it would have turned out better. The previous owners had left the paint behind and they had use the C+K and I was painting a wall with it and again, multiple coats. I haven’t done much painting prior to buying my house and maybe multiple coats is normal. I may have spoiled myself with the one coat paint. Just giving my opinion…
Clark & Kensington is Awesome paint!
what size is the sample paint?
Sample paints on sale for 99 cents are a pint that can be custom tinted.
I just left. I got 2 for my bedroom and 2 for my screen porch! I hope I like it and I am so excited.
Do you have to get 4 different colors, or can you do all the same color?
You can get whatever you want. Same color, different colors, it doesn’t matter
how much was the paint?
Sweet!! We just moved in and need to paint every room.
So tempted to get on this deal, but it might be a little too early since we are signing the contract on our first house this Saturday. And as a previous hipster mentioned, hubby might not sign the permission form.
Ace is very helpful and might even let you purchase the paint and then tint it later?
