Will this laptop print out coupons from coupons.com,redplum,Smart source and so on?
No. Chrome OS not supported for those.
From coupons. com
What operating system or web browser do I need to use the Coupon Printer software?
Windows:
Coupon printing is currently supported on all versions of Microsoft Windows 8, 7, Vista, XP, Server 2003, and 2000 when used with Internet Explorer 8.0 or higher, Mozilla Firefox, Netscape Navigator 8.0 or higher, Google Chrome, Apple Safari 2.0 or higher, and most MSN browsers.
Macintosh:
Coupon printing is currently supported on Intel-based Macintosh computers running OS X 10.10 (Yosemite), 10.9 (Mavericks), 10.8 (Mountain Lion), 10.7 (Lion), 10.6 (Snow Leopard), when used with Apple Safari 4.0 or higher, Firefox 3.7 or higher, and Google Chrome.
Other platforms:
Coupon printing using the Coupon Printer software is NOT supported on mobile devices, Linux, Chromium (Chrome OS), Windows 98/ME, Windows 8 Metro mode, WebTV, or virtual computing environments such as VMWare.
Using a mobile device (phone or tablet) you can navigate our site Coupons.com, log in to your account and add coupons to your retail savings card, browse and use our Coupon Codes, and email coupons to print later from a supported Windows or Macintosh computer.
This laptop is a Chromebook aka
Chrome OS.
Yes, it should.
even i am looking to buy this and had this question of printing coupons and chatted to a customer service she said u can print ur coupons
Yes, you sure can! It’s a chrome book.. Of course chrome is supported 😉 it’s basically an Android tablet with a laptop style, should be able to access anything you can from a phone or tablet, should have no problem printing
There’s Windows, Mac, and Chromebook as operating systems. Chromebook does have Chrome as a browser, but the supported systems for coupons go by the OS, not browser.
Chromebook does not work like Android.
I have the same one – I am on it right now. NO you cannot use it to print coupons unless you send them into a cloud print.
Be sure to read the Q and A’s! Looks like you can’t install Microsoft Office on this and you need to be connected to the internet to be able to use it. Even if you just want to use it for doing text documents, you’ll need an internet connection since you have to use Google Docs.
So then use a flash drive. No one uses MS Office do they? Why when Libre Office
or Open Office are available and FREE.
Lots of people don’t know about either of those options still, which is to bad for their pocket books.
A lot of businesses and schools use Office, as it works better with their systems.
I have a $52.31 bestbuy giftcard if anyone is willing to trade me for an Amazon gift card.
Has anyone used this model for Google hangouts video chat? Does it work well?
