The manager at my Target clarified on the Dr. Pepper / Pepsi deal…
The coupon is for Pepsi products, and Dr. Pepper, although affiliated with Pepsi, is not an actual Pepsi product, since it is bottled and sold under it’s own name. I only had one pack of Dr. Pepper (our of 8) in my cart, so he put it through, but it would be at the discretion of the cashier/manager whether to accept it for the gift card deal, so you would be taking a chance.
I bought 4 Dr. Pepper on Sunday, because the sign specifically listed Dr. Pepper as one of the brands included in the 4/$11 deal (not 4/$10 here….rarely is). They rang up at $4.99 ea! Manager changed price on each one. Strange. But I also bought 2 Brisk and 2 Crush, and those rang up $3.49 ea (she changed those too). Wonder why they weren’t prepared for this sale?
Do not buy the Schick mens razors if your going to do the Fandango movie ticket deal. I posted this in the other thread to. The promotion dosent start till 5/25 so you will be wasting your money if your only buying them for this reason. I made that mistake when i bought some couple weeks ago. My target didn’t prompt an automatic $5 for the sunscreen deal. I did the Mobile coupon then I had to go to customer service to get the second $5 gc.
I just got back from Target. Playtex liners were NOT $3.99 a box and there was NO $5 gift card promotion on feminine products. Dawn dishsoap was NOT on sale for $0.99. And they didn’t carry a trial size of Airborne. The only deal that actually worked for me was the Gerber 4/$5. That was a bummer. Is there really that big of a difference regionally? Is there any way for me to know so I don’t waste my time on your lists if they don’t work here (Utah)?

I always scope out the deals listed here and then price check before getting to the register. The price check scanners will tell you if it’s part of a gift card promo.

For the water babies deal, it only took 5% off of 4 sunscreens. Charged me full price for the other 2. The scenario is for it taking 5% off of all 6. Only a few cents difference and still a great deal!
Cartwheel only works on 4 items per transaction. Cartwheel can be scanned up to 6 times a day, but still only works on 4 items.

the baby coppertone sunscreen deal is a little off. cw only takes off a limit of 4 (“unless otherwise noted”, which it’s not), so cw will only deduct $0.72 for the 6 tubes. (still a great deal tho!:)

The distributor for Dr pepper differs based on your area. Sometimes it’s considered a Pepsi product, other places it’s a 7up product. If your area is one where Dr pepper is brought in by Pepsi, it would work. I worked retail for a decade and helped monitor deliveries.
