This is an amazing program! I invested in some bowling shoes for my girls (to save on the shoe fees overall) and we went dozens of times! We were also thrilled last year when the “summer” program actually ran from April-October! 🙂

    Are shoes included?

the voucher sent to us says ” 2 free games. Standard shoe rental rates apply.”

    Nothing near me 🙁

We bowl a lot so the family pass pays for itself! We all have our own shoes and balls so this makes for a free fun day for the whole family!

Has anyone bought their kid bowling shoes? If so, where? I figure if we bowl enough, shoes might be worth the investment.

I bought my kids bowling shoes at the local alley and they were only 40 bucks each.

I invested in the shoes since my kids are on bowling leagues in the fall as well. Shoes passes are only 15 bucks if u want to go that route as well.

Second year in a row we have this — love it, its even better that the PARENTS gets to bowl for free TOO!! Yes the shoes are not included, it costs about 10 bucks each time for three pairs of shoes for us, it’s still an incredible deal, imo. The hard part is going and buying food and drinks each time, ha..

As for buying shoes, I probably wouldn’t for my kids because they will grow out of them quick but maybe for ourselves as a parents. hmm, Something to think about I suppose.

Anyway, it’s a great program and we love it!

We’ve only gone bowling twice & already saved money with the family pass. Just wish our bowling lanes offered more hours to use this program. Our shoe rentals are only $2 a pair, so each trip only costs $6. I don’t think I’ll invest in shoes for my 4 year old, but I am thinking of investing in shoes for me.

I JUST signed up for this a few days ago! It was in our local paper. I didn’t do the family pass. Is it worth it? I like the extra $5 off.

Thanks so much Colin! We will use this weekly. I’ll speed the word to my neighbors. Awesome!

They also have a kids skate free program too. Just have to voile kids skate free.

  12. Laura

I found some bowling shoes at my local Goodwill for the family for less than 10 bucks! Much cheaper than renting them each time☺

We like to bowl in another city where we visit family often, they are listed as participants. Anyone know if the family pass will work at multiple locations once we’ve purchased the pass and signed up for our local bowling lanes? Thanks!

My family pass is coming up 39.95 before the discount. Anyone else see the same thing? Does it vary by location?

    • nicolegammeter

      The pricing does vary.
