makes sense that they discounted since we are (almost) half way through 2015. Do you usually have through 12/31/15 to use most of the coupons/discounts?

    • Lana

Yes, they go through 12/31 and the books pay for themselves very quickly. Plus the printables in SC are in some cases better than the ones in the books.

      • Christina

I agree that the printables and offers ont he mobile app too are often better than those in the book, that is the case here in MA as well.

    17.5 % through ebates when I checked yesterday…

  3. lissa crane

Got one! Thanks! This will come in handy for the summer months with the kiddo’s!

  4. Angela

Darn, I should have waited i guess. I ordered when they were $8.99.

I love these books especially since they have added the mobile app. You now have the Qs in the book itself, Qs to print from the website and often multiples are allowed, and the mobile app Qs.

I would never pay the full price of $35 but I bought mine back in March for $12 and it paid for itself within a week. There was a free ice coffee (no purchase needed), a coupon for $5 off my grocery bill, and a BOGO dinner coupon. Then when we went away for the APril school vacation I used the mobile app for the first time. I didn’t even need to buy “another book for that the vacation area”, like I have in the past. We used a BOGO for a bounce house place and a few other dining coupons.

I definitely do not remember to use it as much as I should but even with that I have saved at least $80 thus far this year.

I didn’t even realize that I can pull-up whatever city in the app and use those coupons too! Thanks for the great tip!!!!!

Use code GET30 for additional 30% off. I just ordered mine for $6.29, and used ebates for an additional 17.5% rebate!

    • miller

Thank you, Richelle! It worked for me.

    • Lani

      Thanks code worked perfectly!

    • Tammie

Got it too Richelle, thanks for the code!

    • Kristy

      Thank you Richelle!

    • traci

THANKS Richelle. You are awesome! Got 2 books for $13!

    • Anna

Thanks so much for the code. I was on the fence about spending $8.99, but once I saw I could get the book for $6.29 I was sold. I figure for that price even using one coupon should pay for the book. Thanks again!!!

They don’t have one for my area. My question is- for the McDonald’s and other national chain coupons, can they be used anywhere or just that region?

    • Daniela

There are a ton of national coupons. You do not need a local book but maybe pick a book of a place you visit for vacation, just in case you go. I normally buy Florida and NJ – if I don’t go away I have the national coupons.

      • heather

        Thanks for the info!

Does anyone else ever have trouble with the mobile coupons? I’ve tried to use them and some places will not accept them if they are not printed out and even then they question them.

Darn I wish the Las Vegas one still had free stuff like this. There used to be a free pretzel, free drink at Sonic, and a couple other small freebies but for the past 2 years those are gone as well as many of our favorite restaurants. It seems many places are participating anymore.

Please help me to understand the whole ebate ? A little slow on this one. Thanks

Ebates is easy, and no strings attached, and never any cost associated with it! you sign up, then anytime you plan to shop online, just go to the website at Ebates.com first and THEN proceed to your online destination from there.
when you were going to shop online anyway at say Old Navy, or JCPenney, or Groupon, or hundreds of other places, you will earn a rebate of cash back on your total purchase. the rebates sit in your Ebates account and you will get the cash back quarterly; you can choose Paypal or a check in the mail.
at first i thought maybe it was not worth it, because it is commonly about 3% or 4% back, but it really adds up. i usually get about $12 each quarter, but it’s free money that gets automatically put in my Paypal account, and it is money back on stuff i was going to buy anyway. this is always stackable cashback on top of any online deals that online merchants are offering. i have used it when i ordered my contacts, and to buy Living Social and Groupon vouchers.
you can click my link if you want to check out their website or join:

    • shopper

The bonus is a $10 mailed gc from choices shown or a $5 bonus to account after first $25 purchase.

  12. Judy

thanks everyone who shared a code / ebates info – I know these sometimes go down to $5, but I’m willing to buy now and make up the $1.29 in savings between now and then 🙂
