Do this leak in the backpack if THey are upside down??

    • AR_Mom

No they don’t. The only time I’ve seen even a few drops fly out is when they are forcefully thrown on the floor and I think that is just the tiny bit left over from the last sip. Even after such a throw it’s not broken or leaks after that.

These are fantastic bottles!! I have 4 of the Grip-N-Gulp ones going on 2 years and they have held up 1000x better than anything you can buy at Walmart/TRU. They survived my daughter’s chewing phase with barely any scratches, and take toddler throws and dishwasher like a champ. Even with the 5.99 shipping these are a STEAL! My son (1yo) is always stealing her Nalgenes so this is perfect timing to stock up on some more! Thanks Collin!

Thanks for your comment, it made me comfortable enough to pull the plug and order 4 even with the $5.99 shipping. My toddler needed new bottles and I really hate paying for bottles and then finding out that they leak.

These are awesome. You won’t be disappointed. I use these for both kids and they’re basically leak-proof as long as silicone piece in lid is intact. (If bottle has been thrown on a hard surface, say the driveway for example, its not a bad idea to check the lid to make sure seal is still fully in place.) These can take a beating and hold up. Also, they’re the easiest sippy cups I’ve ever cleaned.

I have been thinking, I need to get one of these for each of my kids and bam! So excited. They are great for throwing in the car or the pool bag — they don’t leak. You can take out the little rubber insert for easy cleaning and easier drinking (we take it out for meals, and then it’s just like a sippy cup.) Thanks Collin!

I got one of each style, both in blue, and was able to pick a store nearby for pickup. I’ve been needing to replace the kids camelbak bottle that I lost and I’m glad to get two nalgenes for the price of one camelbak. What a great deal! I’m glad to hear these don’t leak because the camelbak did leak a little.

  9. Angela

Ahhhhhh thank you!!!! These are our go to water bottles and sippies and they are usually so expensive. I went a little crazy but we needed them!!!

  10. Adri

Got 3 for my boys, thanks.

  11. Dani

For those of you familiar with the bottles, which version should I get for my 4 yr old? Thanks!

    • L

I saw no one answered. I don’t have experience with the bottles, but I ordered the non toddler grip ones. I figured they might grow more with my kids? My 2 and 4 year old boys have camelback ones with no grip and both do fine with them. I got these since the other reviewers said they don’t leak. Fingers crossed!

  12. Sarah

I personally like these better than the Camelbak ones. I don’t like the weird nozzle on the Camelback ones, and the straw always falls out. These don’t have a straw and they have a hard nozzle. I bought the Nalgene for full price at Target to try it out a couple of weeks ago and have had no problems with leaks. So I ordered 10 altogether to replace my 2 kids’ sippy cups. they love these!

    These are great!

I bought one of each for my 15 month old. I hope these work great. I had the NUK silicone nipple sippy cups but she’s growing out of them and they leak badly! Thanks, Collin!

    • Christie

I only use the Nuk cups for my daughter, but she is growing out of them too…i just purchased four of these…hopefully they do the trick πŸ™‚

I love these! They are the best for no leaks. Just ordered 7 for my boys and my nieces. Thanks!
