just an FYI – I don’t know how much u shop amazon, but it took me a year! to finally use a $10 “promotional credit” i had gotten in the past. I don’t have Prime, but i shop somewhat often. just apparently not for items that are actually sold & shipped by Amazon.

Just tried doing this deal. Do I need to add the $10 promo offer to my cart as well? I know when I’ve done the Pampers deal I do, but I don’t see that with this offer. I added the code but no extra $10 promo card is added to my cart. Anyone know?

In my order it shows up under Step 4 of 4, Review Items and Shipping. It should say:
Qualifying offers
Prime Day promotion has been applied. After your order has shipped, you will receive a $10 promotional credit good for any item sold by Amazon.com.
They send you an email with a code to add it to your account. Email is sent when cards ship
It says on the check out page that you will be emailed a code. You don’t add anything to your card other than the promo code. HTH

It says it cannot be applied to my cart?
First, be sure you are a Prime Member. If you clicked on “Click To Apply Promo Code” Button then if you try to apply the “PRIMEGCS” code at at checkout, it will say, “The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase” b/c you are trying to enter it twice. https://www.amazon.com/b?node=11633657011

i tried to buy Amazon gift cars the other day and use my Amazon gift card balance to pay. purchase would not go through, so i contacted customer service, and the agent told me Amazon has a policy that gift cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards.
